Cute small neighborhood cafe. Friendly staff & great selection of baked goods. There is a small neighborhood park nearby with amazing views of the water.

Stopped in for lunch and ordered a salad and pizza. The salad was tasty but was missing a few ingredients. The staff were kind and brought out the missing ingredients when we brought it up. The pizza was okay, but very doughy/soggy and a bit undercooked underneath. The mozzarella cheese on top was really good though. The space is very cozy and a lovely ambiance.

Excellent service, great atmosphere, not so good food. Our risotto appetizer was great, but the halibut was way overcooked- I could hardly cut through the bottom piece of it with a knife, The sauce and the fish was way too rich, and the pizza sauce tasted very bland like tomato sauce right out of the can Unseasoned.

Was there around opening today and the pastries were still a bit warm from the oven, so good!

This place seems charming, but they don't take NFC payments (e.g., Apple Pay, Google Pay, etc )!

This is my go-to place for morning coffee and a treat with friends - whether we are just talking or playing cards - or alone while reading or paying bills or Journaling it is delightful. The outside seating out back is half covered and half uncovered with individual table umbrellas. I really appreciate the outdoor heaters and blankets for cooler days.

Vegetarian options: They have so many vegetarian pastries and breads, clearly marked and with knowledgeable staff if you have any questions.

Dietary restrictions: I'm vegan and allergic to wheat, so there aren't many options for food - but they have an amazing oat and raspberry bar and a trail mix cookie that avoid both my allergens. And they are super yummy

Required 30% tip for take-out when you pick up the order yourself??? This is highway robbery. Shameful. I went here many times with my family over the past 8 years, I will not go again. They are gauging families and charging unnecessary fees/tips for services that is NOT happening.

Possibly one of the best bakery spots in Seattle. Every single one of their pastry options are delicious. The lunch menu options (the sandwiches) are also amazing. They sell bread as well, freshly made each day, also amazing. Best pastries in Ballard by far. So happy to have this spot in the neighborhood! The drink options are alright. Would avoid the plain coffee options but the lattes are pretty good! Plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors with a cozy vibe throughout. Can get pretty busy but there’s never much of a wait.

They have coffee and quiches and stuff here but what really brings me in is the phenomenal ciabatta bread and the equally phenomenal almond horns.

Excellent coffee and the best quiche crust I've ever tasted. So light and buttery, it could have come from Paris. Happy counter folk and servers. Don't miss it in Ballard.
