Tasty, flavourful pies. Friendly service. I loved the crumble topping. They tasted homemade, not mass produced. A great place if you want a perfectly satisfying dessert

Pricy midnight pie!

this shit is the saddest excuse for pie ever. you're better off buying jello and a pie crust from the store. the chocolate cream pie has a whisper of chocolate, and if you like cool whip it's perfect cuz that's probably 75% of what it's made of. i make better ACTUAL choco cream pie at home. it was sad and my sweet tooth shed some tears. i also was kinda confused because i ordered and mud pie shot? and i got something that was very peanut buttery and not chocolatey at all. could've just been a mistake, but it just added on to my disappointment from the weird ass pie šŸ˜… maybe just go for drinks and hope they're right? and as a heads up if you don't enjoy a small intimate space-just stay away. i'm ok with that but it is pretty small.

Bruh, they legit had a rat in the kitchen. Mofo in there cookin' the pies. We closed the lids on the boxes of pie, paid, and dipped out. If I get sick ya'll will be hearing from me.

This place is… Different, but in the most beautiful way.

Walking into here, you can tell that the owner’s love is making pies. It’s an eclectic little shop with interesting lights and trinkets. It’s homey, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the owner goes to Burningman each year. It just has those vibes. It’s small, and there isn’t a ton of seating, but you won’t find better vibes anywhere in the city. It’s perfection. It’s like this man knows his passion is pies, and he brought his authenticity to the most perfectly homey little abode that you haven’t lived until you’ve experienced.

Let’s talk about what you REALLY wanna know about though… The pie.

I’ve been in here many, many times for sweet pie, but tonight was my first time having something savory. When I say I had the best chicken pot pie I have ever had, I am not kidding. It was filled to the brim with veggies and perfectly juicy chunks of chicken, and the crust had me SWOONING. I’ve never had a better chicken pot pie… And that’s when I decided that maybe I’ve been coming to Pie Bar all wrong for YEARS now. It wasn’t at all dry, and I’ve never had a better crust. That’s what made it. It was the crust. (AND the bite that I had that was perfectly peppery without being too much and the realization that THIS MAN adequately seasons his food!)

I decided to deviate from my usual cream pie dessert wise and had their deserted island pie. It was HEAVENLY. The apples were the perfect easily cut through texture without being mush, the medley of other fruits were the perfect ripe and sweet without being too much, and just as I suspected, that same delectable crush used of the pot pie was used here.

Don’t make the mistake that I did by passing by this Seattle Gem’s savory and fruit pies. And if you’re in the area, and you haven’t been in period, know that you’re missing out on the Best of Seattle. You’d better get in here QUICK.

After I made my payment the girl dressed as a witch (on Halloween) took the tablet back behind the counter and said ā€˜thank you’ before I could select my tip option. She walked past the tip screen many times while she was making a drink for someone else. I sat there confused for a few minutes wondering what she was planning to do with that? Was she waiting for me to leave so she could tip herself whatever she wanted? Left such a bad taste in my mouth… So did the pie-tinis, made with liqueur I could not drink them at all and tasted them in my mouth all night, I couldn’t manage to take a full sip of my drinks.

The place is also horribly furnished and structured, very tight and awkward to walk around in there. Had to walk past screaming karaoke singers to get to the bar. Awful placement for the karaoke station but there’s barely any room to move around in there in the first place. Expected way better. Not impressed!!! šŸ‘ŽšŸ¼šŸ‘ŽšŸ¼šŸ‘ŽšŸ¼
