I stopped in last night to get my very pregnant wife a slice. The pies are phenomenal but the staff is even better!

Feel bad that staff is clearly giving their all, but not getting the support and love they need.

I had high hopes for Pie Bar, but it was a huge disappointment. The service was slow and unfriendly, and the drinks were overpriced and not as described. The pie, which is supposed to be the highlight, was underwhelming and tasted stale. For the cost, I expected much better quality and a more enjoyable experience. Sadly, this place didn’t live up to the hype and left me wishing I’d gone elsewhere. Definitely not worth a second visit.

That customer service was a buzz kill to end our night with! I’m really bummed to have to leave this review, I have tried searching for a way to contact management about our visit but have come up with no such email address to do so. Getting in and seated was fine- when it was time to order, every selection of pie I chose off the menu was out and they kept replying “we have pear cranberry pie available” which wasn’t an option on the menu but after asking for 4-5 other pies from the menu, I was stuck with the pear cranberry. I actually did hear them tell another group they did indeed have the banana which is one I tried to order. Oh well. Watching them use Swiss miss hot chocolate packets and heating up their chicken pot pies in the microwave definitely seemed funny and low quality. The restaurant picked up a bit while we were eating and I couldn’t help notice other people not being helped or asked their orders from their table so other customers awkwardly started walking up to the bar to order. That’s how we ended up paying since we weren’t checked on or brought a bill after we sat there finished for quite a while. During our visit a woman came in for a pickup order and she was pointed to the outside pickup window. I heard her say she was feeling uncomfortable standing outside due to a group of drunk guys and they proceeded to make her go outside to the window. There was plenty of space inside that she could have waited. Unfortunately don’t think we’ll be back.

Unfortunately the Ballard location has changed a lot. I believe there was an ownership change so the menu is different and not complicated but the drinks were not good . No more pietinis that we know and love. Every one working was new so it’s not their fault but we won’t be going back

The pie is way overpriced, but it is good. Like, really good. Not worth the price, but still good.

At the Puyallup Fair. Found the truck. Ordered bumble berry. In our pie was mostly big chunks of apple with a few remnants of berries. What a disappointment! Won’t make the effort to find your place in Ballard!

Great product, shame that they’ve decided to close before 11pm recently.

This place is the real deal! We grabbed a peanutbutter pie at the walk up window and absolutely loved it! The picture doesn't do it justice, but it was sooo decadent & delicious!

Our server was super friendly and helpful. We tried all the savory pies, the vegan ended up being my favorite but they were all good. and we loved the atmosphere.

The Ballard shop was opened over 15 minutes late today. The hours posted said 4. I opened the unlocked door at 415 and started walking in. The woman inside screamed at me to get out. I calmly asked where to order if I can’t come in and order and she said I’m by myself GET OuT! She humiliated me and my kids. She yelled at me loud enough other people heard out on the road. I would have gladly left and understood she was running late but she yelled at me so quickly I was shocked . I want to try the food some day but I’m not sure I feel welcome or safe in that place.
