This place is the real deal! We grabbed a peanutbutter pie at the walk up window and absolutely loved it! The picture doesn't do it justice, but it was sooo decadent & delicious!
The ginger mule drink I had was delicious, and the rhubarb pie was okay. Not quite distinctive in flavor or presentation as I'd hope. My sister's cream pie was quite good, though. I think they were short staffed the evening we were there. While slow, the service was friendly. I would revisit in hopes of getting that 5-star experience I believe is possible.
My friend and I both got the seasonal lemon custard pie slice and looked forward to eating this, but the texture/bake of the bottom crust was awful, like eating thin cardboard. We couldn't get our forks through it and then the lemon filling tasted kind of metallic/chemically. Super disappointing for $14.
