What restaurant calls themselves a " Fish Bar" if they can't cook a simple fish and chips? We ordered the two piece cod and chips. The fish was covered in a heavy crust of panko breadcrumbs, and had no flavour. The fries were lackluster and cold. The fish was over cooked to the point of being chewy and hard. I mentioned to the waitress that I couldn't eat one of the pieces because it was too hard, she just said " Ok." Do better, Fish Bar.

First and last time patronizing pikes fish bar. Ordered fried cod with fries and coleslaw. Fish was overcooked and too much panko breading. Absolutely no seasoning! The waiter was nice. Would not recommend eating here

Absolutely outstanding food and service. The oysters were unbelievably delicious and fresh. Drinks were great pours. Staff was knowledgeable and fun. All served in the lively atmosphere of the Pike. I will definitely return and can highly recommend.

Good chowder. Bloody Mary was on point. Raw oysters were small and there was a rancid one mixed in there. Staff had a great attitude and service was good, but they got our order wrong and it still showed up incorrectly on the bill.

Great food and our waitress was pleasant . She joked with us and overall it was a great experience dining here. My husband enjoyed the fish tacos, I had the chowder which was amazing!
I wish I could talk about the food of the place. Today after a hot walk with my daughter in the stroller, while 8 month pregnant, I was craving fish and chips and got excited to go in the fish bar. The place was basically empty, only 2 tables and no server in sight. There was also no signs telling me to wait. So I sit on the first table closer to the door to wait for someone to come. I place the stroller by the table with plenty of space to walk through to the other tables and wait. I see a male server look at me from behind the bar and give me a not happy face. He comes and before anything, starts lessoning me asking me to move the stroller because I'm blocking the way (which I wasnt) and telling me to put my daughter in between the tables where it was super tight couldn't fit the stroller. And even said "that is why we don't let people sit themselves". So I, surprised and disappointed, got up and left. I used to be a server and understand the "sitting themselves" people, but the situation was different..no sign, empty restaurant and with my feet hurting I saw no harm on waiting sitting down. Too bad his attitude was so negative and rude, otherwise I would have stayed to eat.

Can’t believe the quality of the food here. It’s in the middle of a tourist trap but the food is excellent. Crab cakes and fish tacos were exceptional.
