I've always assumed that Seattle means seafood, and last night's dinner was all about seafood, so when I went to try the popular seafood clam chowder, there was a huge line! !After lining up for about 20 minutes, we were able to place our order and eat in right away! It was rich and very delicious.

Sampler/four chowders n a shrimp sandwich.. everything tastes good. Due to overcrowding couldn’t fully enjoy dining in.. though I guess that’s expected…

My wife and I were visiting Seattle and, of course, had to drop by Pike Place. We were not familiar with Pike Place Chowder beforehand but read some reviews and decided to have lunch there. The wait is about 45 minutes, and then you're not guaranteed a seat...however...this place is definitely worth the wait and the inconvenience (although we were able to find a seat). I had a sampler of New England and Manhattan and I would have to give the edge to their New England, but the Manhattan is as good as any I've ever had. Bottom line, if you're visiting Pike Place and like clam chowder, this is a must.

Still delicious, came back to Seattle after being away for a few years and this is still the best chowder in town.

Went in the afternoon on a weekday and there was no line and there were open tables. Got the flight with New England, chorizo, market (asparagus and halibut) and the vegan lime. Defo the chorizo and NE were the best. A bit pricey but expected for the location. Worth it for sure!

Extremely rude guy on the pickup desk, don’t ask him any questions if you wanna keep yourself in a good mood for a day.

Food was nothing to write home about but the service was good, with the counter guy promoting vegan food, saying he had been vegan for a year & that is a healthy choice. Had a touristy feel.Dietary restrictions: No place for people with crustacean allergies.Parking: Parking is impossible. Paid street parking & parking lots are the only options.
