Sat for 25 minutes without any server acknowledging (giving a menu, smiling, nothing) our table of 5 right in the middle of the bar. Very rude and could have been a very nice tip. Also, if you waited at the bar for a drink the bartender told you to take a seat at a table and wait for a server...ha! Ya right!

The young man (barista) was super efficient and very courteous but - the reproach is addressed not to him but to the management - there should be 2 people there at breakfast time, not just one

It is very cute but I had one the worst sleep of my life in this hotel. The bed was making noise, you could hear the cars outside and the other rooms. They are dog friendly and I’m 100% sure they didn’t change the sheets because I’m allergic to dogs and I had skin allergies all over me after sleeping in the bed and I was itching my skin the whole night. Long story short very cute but I would never go back.

I love The Stone decor it is great looking as a simi presses and presses collector the bar counter and amithus table are great features and atmosphere is relaxing but keeps you awake. Great for breakfast, Lunch or dinner either relax or doing business or meetings. I am local and like to stop in and get business things done coffee is good and I am wanting to try out the lunch menu next and bring friends and work business meetings in the near future. Check it out!

The location is fantastic! It is a short walk to the Space Needle snd monorail to Pike St. Market, but a quiet location for sleeping. Beds are comfortable. Clean. Most staff were great. We would recommend this hotel and we will stay here again.

We traveled with friends and stayed at The Maxwell before and after our Alaskan cruise. We received a warm welcome with bottled water, cookies and a coupon for a complimentary drink. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious. All the staff were very accommodating, however, Chandra and Fionna were exceptional in assisting us. We returned from our cruise in the morning and we were able to check into our room. We appreciated this so much so we could drop our luggage and adventure out in Seattle. Thank you to everyone at The Maxwell!

From the moment we walked in to such a warm, sincere welcome this hotel just kept getting better!! The room was amazing, the amenities terrific and so many areas made us smile! It was close to the space needle and Chuiey Gardens as well as easy access to transportation. We already chose to go back another night after our cruise. I’ll be recommending this place to everyone!! A special shout out to Chandra. What a wonderful woman- exactly who you want at the front desk! She answered questions, gave directions, got our cruise transportation and offered a smile and kind word every time! Thank you!! We’ll be back!

The room was great- had all the amenities we needed (microwave, tv, fridge, room with sitting area, desk, room for bags). Loved the wood floors. The hotel is fun and the first floor is super cute. Our room floor was a little yuck- the smell, kind of musty/old carpet and the elevators are slow and a little worn. Otherwise, great staff, good food, great walkable location (felt very safe), relatively quiet too. Definitely a good option - Safe, quiet, clean, fun.

The hotel was super cute and very clean. The staff was very friendly. Our room was very nice. The bed was so comfortable to sleep in and the comforter made it feel like you were in the clouds. Highly recommend this hotel.

The Maxwell Hotel is a quirky unicorn. Great location near - but not in the middle of - Seattle Center. It has a pool, gym, bicycles to borrow, a piano to play, and super friendly staff. Rooms are very generously sized, so that our family of 2 adults and 2 teens had enough space so that everyone was comfortable and could spread out. Food and bar offerings are basic, but ok. We stayed twice (before and afters, cruise), and really enjoyed our experience. Highly recommend, and we would definitely stay there again!

Still furious with the cost increases ranging from $497 to $1069 during the days we were in Seattle. I made the reservation months ago and was given an average nightly rate of $433. The total quoted was nearly $1000 less than what I was charged. The hotel is nice, but this is unacceptable.

Hotel location is very convenient, walk to space needle, seattle center. Parking garage is safe. Love the pineapple scent toiletries. Bedding is comfy, except pillow is too soft for me. Nothing to complain about. Decor is beautiful, perfect for pictures.

What a fabulous hotel, the best of the ten we have stayed in so far on our trip in the USA. The staff is excellent, the environment is so lovely and well maintained and the amenities are superb. I couldn’t stop taking pictures of pineapples!!!!

Right from the front desk, staff was smiling and welcoming. They took our bags earlier than what our check in was so we could enjoy a day in Seattle without lugging our belongings with us. Check in was super easy and quick. They also helped us with a shuttle to the port for our cruise. Highly recommend this hotel for 1000+ reasons
