Pioneer Tacos & Tequila

This is our "go-to restaurant/bar" before Sounders matches & Mariners game. Salsa and cremas (avocado, chipotle) are made in house. Delicious street tacos and easy to customize. It's not the cheapest, but what is nowadays? It can get to standing room only, so be prepared for that. We've always had friendly staff serve us. Again, be patient when it's slammed and give a little grace. We've introduced many friends to this place and it's never disappointed.

So good I'm writing the review during the national anthem.

You might feel important. you aren't. you wanna go to sports? You like sports right? well so does everyone else around you. you aren't special for buying a sports ticket today. get your drink, get your taco. go to the game and have fun. is the service rememberable? doesn't need to be. go have fun. get and drink and go have fun. 5 our of 5 stars.

Why does it say your open and your closed ??????

Stopped there for a beer and a shot before the Seahawks game. We got it at the portal outside. After I saw my receipt I realized I had been scammed. The beer price was fair but the price for the shots was ridiculous. 14 bucks a piece for probably half an ounce of cheap tequila. Buyer beware I will not be going back there again.

Make sure when you pay your tab that you are charged correctly especially if it's during a busy time before an event & you are asked to keep your tab open on your credit card.. My $18 tab for 3 tacos turned into a $96 charge to my credit card! The server kept my credit card open after I closed my tab and since she didn't provide a receipt for payment my bank was unable to help me dispute the charge. BEWARE!

Power tripping Security guard/doorman refused us entry. Im 44yrs old and had my New Zealand Drivers licence with me which i presented to him. Bear in mind this is also at about 3pm! I had not had a single sip of alcohol. The doorman said i could only come in if I had a USA driver license or a Passport.

However, he had let my wife in. With her New Zealand drivers license, the night before. I explained this to him and he gave me the "not my problem" attitude.

Complete jerk and a bad look for the business. Our only poor encounter in the 2 week holiday across San Diego, LA and Seattle. Everyone else was super friendly.

Great atmosphere for a quick pre-game bite next to both stadiums. Ordering food and drinks from the QR code at the table was quick and easy. Food and drinks came out quickly and it was great to be able to add to the order through the app without flagging down a server. Big tequila selection. Al Pastor tacos were spicy. ?️

Went there on Saturday. There was an event happening and the staff was clearly stressed. One of the bartenders was screaming at people to form a single line, signage might have helped at this point. We got in line and ordered at the bar. The bartender was rude from the get go, "what do you want?" isn't the way to talk to customers, rolling her eyes and snapping we couldn't order food at the bar wasn't it either, again signage would help. I attempted to pay cash because I didn't feel the service was worth the automatic 20% gratuity added to the tab. I was told "we don't take cash during events" - so forced to pay an extra 20% of my bill for bad service. We got a table eventually and ordered food - again 20% automatic gratuity - I ordered 3 tacos and received 2, attempted to speak with a server about it and she told me she couldn't help me. The tacos were good. That's the only positive I can say about it.

Not sure why this place only has 3.9 stars! Quick service, friendly staff, delicious food, and outdoor seating - - what more could you want for a pre-game pre-funk?!

Food was mediocre. I had one taco and a margarita for $20. I wouldn't mind the price if the taco had been good, but it was terrible. I went with 4 friends before a ball game, and we all left pretty disappointed. The service wasn't great either
