I was quite disappointed after visiting this location, especially since I was a tourist following the Anthony Bourdain recommendation. I ordered the chocolate hazelnut and the potato beef pastries. As a chocolate lover, I was surprised that the chocolate hazelnut was not flavorful enough for me to even finish it. The potato beef was only average. Overall, I do not recommend this place for other tourists who are making a special trip because of the Bourdain connection.

Quiet place to eat. Yummy breakfast treats including a bacon, hash brown & egg piroshky.

Pastries are super delicious!! I wish this is available in my city. I tried Swedish meatball, and beef cheese ( I can't recall the name). Both are delicious

The potato and mushroom pirozhki was one of the best things I've eaten this week. Warm, soft, flaky, perfectly savory... I wasn't big on the garden curry flavor, but that might be because the other one set the bar so high. Updated from previous review on 2025-08-14
There were two vegan options available and both were pretty good. I ordered the spiced garden curry & the potato and mushroom. Both were great but the potato and mushroom definitely outranks the other in my opinion. Extremely soft, flakey, savory goodness! I would definitely order the potato & mushroom piroshky again!! I hope to see more vegan options in the future. Updated from previous review on 2025-08-09
Tried to go here in the middle of the day on Saturday and they were just randomly closed??

Weekly visit for me. Smoke Salmon Piroshky for the win. I enjoy this, and go here because it's super close to Westlake Station and after 8 the 9th is free

Delightfully surprised. I had no idea what to expect, just saw that their location in pike’s place had a line. This location was convenient to get to from our hotel and there was no wait to order. I highly recommend this location over the pikes place.
We enjoyed the chocolate, beef & cheese and vegan potato & mushroom piroshky were delicious.

Of course the pastries are good. I love the spicy sausage roll for breakfast. There's a woman who works here alone early mornings and she is a lovely person and very good at her job.

We tried both vegan options (one filled with potato& mushroom and one filled with vegetable curry) and both were delicious. Please add more vegan options to the menu and make more, so they don‘t get sold out so early😄
I was around and wanted a quick vegan bite — that was a good option, pretty tasty, filling and quick 👍
Fenix was amazing and super helpful! I’m visiting from NYC and this was the first place I went to. As someone who grew up in Belarus I can attest that these are legit piroshky
