The food at Place Pigalle is incredible. That said, the service can be almost amateurish. Our waitress took our food and drink order. We ordered a cocktail and wine. After a not short wait the waitress appeared with our wine order and a salad. Where are our cocktails? Oops. Takes the wine back. Meanwhile, we start on the salads. Half way through, the cocktails arrive. After another not at all short wait, the food and wine arrives. My entree is spectacular. But, it really requires...
Great food with professional and friendly service. The restaurant is in a convenient downtown location with great views. We very much enjoyed the beet salad and French onion soup (with baguette) as appetizers, followed by mussels for our entrees, and the creme brulee for dessert. We went back again during our trip to Seattle. Highly recommended!
Really great all around. Every course was impressively good. Recommend the melt in your mouth calamari appetizer and the clam Chowder with saffron was wonderful. Lamb chops had generous portioning and were perfectly prepared. Also asked for an off menu espresso martini and it was perfect! All of this and a lovely setting and service as well. Highly recommend. Can't imagine you could be disappointed in any way.
