Came here for restaurant week and was pretty disappointed. This restaurant calling itself sichuan food is like la croix calling itself orange soda. Hardly the slightest hint of mala

We came here for restaurant week and were blown away that such a tasty and flavorful restaurant was so close to our house. The only thing that might have been better than the food was the service. All the dishes we’re incredibly delicious and pretty affordable for today’s economy. 10/10 plan to come again.Wheelchair accessibility: No stairs

More like Plenty of Crap, amiright?Ludicrously overpriced, whitewashed “Chinese” food. Go a mile down the road to the ID for the real thing at a third of the $

We had been to the Dump Truck before but not the main restaurant. Our server was vegan and made excellent recommendations. My favorite was the "super yummy tofu," but everything was delicious!

The service was good, however the food was extremely subpar. As a Chinese person who grew up eating the cultural food, the flavors were far from what authentic Sichuanese cuisine should taste like. We ordered dishes including Mapo tofu and Dan Dan Noodles. Neither of them had any mala flavoring, they were simply salty. All the dishes presented the same bland and simple flavors that might come from a jar sauce. The quantities were also overpriced and too small for family style dining.

Food was flavorful and big portions. Cucumber salad, fried pork belly, and black pepper beef hit the spot. Clean dining room and good

This was such a treat. My husband is heavily into Chinese cooking and particularly loves siuhchuan and I am gluten free and can never eat Chinese out with him. Not only were most dishes available gluten free but the food was phenomenal. In the top 3 best meals I've had in Seattle and we eat at a lot of restaurants. Highly recommend. Just don't do what I did and rub your eye after.Dietary restrictions: Lots of gluten free options.

I generally subscribe to the practice of “voting with your dollar” and try to only write reviews when I’ve had a fantastic experience; my dinner at Plenty of Clouds is no exception. We sat at the bar and got the Chinese greens, pork dumplings, black pepper beef short rib and the dan dan noodles and all of them were outstanding (and sizable portions). The drinks were fantastic and made by the our favorite aspect of the visit which was our bartender Miles who was charming, funny, personable and managed to find the time to goof with us about the latest Street Fighter PlayStation game all while preparing drinks for the entire spot. We definitely enjoyed getting takeout from here during the pandemic but had such a fun time that I suspect our visits in the future will be predominantly in-person.

Super delicious, flavorful food! It's not too spicy but the menu is great and varied with lots of vegan options for me. The service was fast and the restaurant had great cozy vibes.

Starters are a lot better then entrees. Dan Dan noodles were so over cooked that they became mushy.Service was lackluster as well.

Tried out Plenty of Clouds during Restaurant Week. We booked a reservation for early dinner on a Friday. We got there around 5PM and it wasn't busy at all but when we left at 7PM it was packed with a line. The Restaurant Week menu consisted of having one small plate, one large plate, and a drink or dessert. We ordered sichuan pork dumplings (small plate), eggplant (small plate), dry fried chicken (large plate) and dan dan noodles (large plate). There was more than enough food to share amongst the two of us. Food came out as it was ready so that was a bit odd. But I think the idea is that it's a family style place. The sichuan pork dumplings were my favorite item out of everything. They were well cooked and not overly covered in sauce. The dry fried chicken was pretty good but I think there were way too many peppers mixed in. I did like that the chicken wasn't too breaded, it was actually very light. The dan dan noodles and eggplant didn't impress me at all. I also ordered a drink since it came with the Restaurant Week deal. It was the Slipper Spritz. I didn't like it all but pushed through to drink it. I'm happy I finally got to try this place but unfortunately I don't think I'll be coming back again.

We had a wonderful dinner here, and were very pleased with our dining experience here during Seattle Restaurant Week. Our waiter was very friendly, and even offered us to taste a menu ingredient we were unfamiliar with. And hats off to the chef- everything we tried was delicious. My particular favorite was the twice cooked pork belly, followed closely by the cucumber salad. The only thing we found underwhelming was the rice crispy dessert. All in all it was great though. We’d love to come here again.
