This review is for a door dash from plum. We had the oyster mushroom po-boy and a General Tso's cauliflower bowl. The po-boy was excellent and the Tso's bowl was just ok. Also the delivery charges were insane. $68.66 for a sandwich and a bowl was a bit much for a mile and a half delivery. They really rack it up, the cost of the food plus a service fee, a delivery fee, tip, tax, and an "other" fee too. (What is that "other" fee for?) It was a good po-boy but not nearly $70 bucks good. Sorry can't recommend.

Came back and ordered the eggplant Parmesan.. this was THE best vegan Alfredo & the crispy eggplant was sooooo delicious! I would come back to get this exact meal again. I did read some reviews talking about a service charge which I am not a fan of. I ordered takeout both times I came here so I don't believe I was charged that fee. However that would keep me from coming here to sit inside. Regardless the food is delicious I will be ordering takeout again.

Food was excellent. Got the tacos/tostadas. Portions were large and I was full when I finished. Only downside is that I felt burned by the added 20% service charge tacked on to the bill at the end. None of it goes to the server so if you want to tip it's on top of that. I'd appreciate knowing that up front so hopefully you will know going in.

Back in the day, Plumb Bistro was innovative and a bit extra. It seemed a cut above other vegan restaurants, featuring reasonable prices and elegantly prepared food. After a recent dinner visit with friends, the consensus around the table was that Plumb now resides in merely "OK" status, bordering on "Meh." For example, my General Tso Cauliflower Bowl was visually on point, but the usual decedent coating was doughy, lacked spice, and wrapped around undercooked cauliflower. A side of sautéed broccoli was similarly tough, which had me wondering if this was the intended effect or the result of a rushed kitchen. The Mac and Yease split as an appetizer tasted aggressively of nutritional yeast, and the overcooked pasta yielded a kind of a goopy mess. The huge "Macho Burrito" served with fries (not corn chips??) was somewhat bland but thankfully accompanied by a tasty Jalapeno Aoli. Plumb's generous portion of gnocchi-forward Wild Mushroom Ragù featured a flavorful tomato-based sauce that everyone agreed was a success. I'll likely continue visiting Plumb for its excellent brunch, but Seattle has too many better vegan options today to justify another dinner service.

Really wanted to come back here because the food was good but when I received the bill I saw the 20% tip was added for me. Frustrating and entitled to say the least. When I tried to warn future customers they simply stated "to ensure our entire service team receives competitive compensation and access to benefits". I don't own part of Plum Bistro so I'm not sure why it's my responsibility as a customer to pay these servers adequately. SHAME on all businesses that put BUSINESS EXPENSES on to the customer. What's to stop the next guy from charging a 40% service fee. Was it in tiny writing at the bottom of the menu? Yes. Was it deliberately not placed in plain view and not called out. ALSO YES. THIS IS SHADEY AND GREEDY.

It was good, but there is a 20% service charge that goes to the restaurant and not directly to the staff. And they ask to tip on top - I don't mind tipping 20% but to do both is outrageous. Just increase the food cost or better yet GIVE THE 20% TO THE STAFF. They claim it's to pay competitively. If that's the case give it all to the staff. Also this place is suppose to be vegan. They use Clorox, which is tested on animals.

100% vegan. Friendly service. Huge portions. Cute atmosphere! Fun to walk the shops after eating!

Food is good but what killed the mood was the 20% service fee that doesn't go to staff. When you're done with your meal the price is almost doubled.

Had the Apple Caramel French Toast and Macho Burrito, both were amazing.

They charge a 20% "dining fee" that it mentions doesn't even go to the servers?? What even is a dining fee? Just bake it into the menu item prices like every other restaurant. On top of that, they suggest leaving a 20% tip. This place is scummy and the food is mid at best..

We live nearby and would probably come here weekly as the food is good BUT... the bill comes with a 20% restaurant fee (that clearly says it doesn't go to the servers) and then of course the regular tip. So 40%+ on top of the food. Just not sustainable to be a regular spot like I was hoping. Read your receipt carefully.

I would give this restaurant a 5 star rating but there’s a hard pill to swallow. A 20% service charge that doesn’t go to the wait staff and still expect you to tip on top of that. Wasn’t ware of the service charge. Wasn’t notified by it and was surprised at the end. This feels scammy
