Nice chill place to grab a midafternoon/evening drink. Polite and friendly service. Bathrooms are clean. They have a selection of board games, pinball like machines and a pool table. Nice location. Would return.

Good dive with pull tabs and bingo

Extremely inconsiderate bar that can’t figure out how to keep their back door shut at 1am.
Great place to grab drinks. Enough attention but not so much to be annoying. Really enjoyed the lady working the bar.

The place is meh. It seems like a bar for mostly locals and people who know each other. Took me a while to get served while sitting at the bar (around 10 mins) and probably took longer if security didn't say something. Not sure if it was because I was at the empty corner of the bar or I just didn't have enough presence for them to notice. Bartender was nice enough to give a free beer for the delay. Overall, you can go to a different bar than this one.

This is a dive bar, in the best way. Locals gather and share a familial atmosphere. One of my favorite places to grab a drink in West

Awesome bar, Miguel and andy are always so sweet and take good care of everyone. Don't use the claw machine. My boyfriend is addicted and we come home with at least 3 beanie babies every time ?

Cool dive bar in West Seattle.
Mean spirited staff, strange patrons, and the worst bar interior in West Seattle combine to create a complete mystery of how and why Poggie Tavern stays open. If it’s busy, good luck getting a drink, and there’s probably a group of weirdos there to point and stare at you and your group until you leave, which happened to me last night (12/15). If it’s not busy, again, good luck getting a drink, because the larger lady with the short haircut doesn’t want to serve you. She was especially rude to my group, kept claiming she had better things to do before she poured a pitcher for us. There were at most 10 other people in the bar besides my group, most of them around the pool table, but she was dead set on doing anything besides serving us. Genuinely unfriendly person, I’ve never had a bartender speak to me like they wanted me to leave like that before. By the time we finally got our pitcher from her we didn’t feel like staying anymore anyways. The place itself is just gross to put it simply, and the entire wall behind the bar is filled with pull tabs save for a small area with bottles the bartender probably won’t ever touch. There’s almost no decor besides a pool table, pinball machine, ATM, and for some reason a claw machine? Cheap beer is nice, but it not if the bartender doesn’t want to sell it to anyone. Save yourself the embarrassment and avoid this poor excuse for a dive bar.

Great pub and great area!
Was there on Friday evening after a football game and the store was packed.
Cool people with whom you can quickly get into conversation.
Attention, take a jacket with you ? The air conditioning is set quite hard.
My highlight as a German, they had Underberg!
Prices are absolutely ok!
