The ambience is excellent ..soft and a warm welcome from the Owner who is taking your order, shaking your martini. My wife had the best vodka martini in months. We shared their Caesar Salad that we ranked # 1 for the last year. Pasta dish was very good..the menu had many choices. We are wAiting to go back!

We were in Seattle recently and decided to try Pomodoro for dinner. We got there about 30 mins before closing and were seated immediately. We got Calamares a la Plancha, and Setas Salteadas to start. We loved both the dishes, the calamari was cooked perfectly and very different from anything we have had before, the mushrooms were delicious. They serve complimentary bread with a pesto spread that was great. For the main course we got Penne alla Vodka with wild prawns, and Linguine alla Carbonara con Pancetta. They were both delicious, my only complaint would be I got only 2 prawns with the penne. If you like spicy food, ask for their house made habanero oil, it was great. We got Tiramisu and Crème Brûlée to finish our meal and loved them both.

First of all, amazing service and that truly made the night and the entire experience. Staff are extremely attentive and welcoming the entire way through. There's a parking lot for later in the night (a certain timeframe which I don't recall is allocated for certain people). One of our friends had their birthday and was extremely warmed as well with a delicious cake and jolly happy birthday. We came last minute unsure where to go, but were greatly pleased.Everything was good. No, everything was fantastic. I'm not sure I can pick a favorite, will definitely be back to try more and even reorder many of the entrees, no question. I could close my eyes and point at any item knowing it'll be amazing. Portion sizes were also much larger than initially expected. We figured we'd still be hungry after and are used to smaller, but expensive plates at other restaurants. We even planned out other food options but, those weren't needed at all.

Was craving some Italian food after a windy stroll around Carkeek trail. The sis sent over a Yelp list of Italian places nearby, all which looked delicious and made the decision factor quite difficult. However, something immediately drew me to Pomodoro.. idk what it was (quite possibly the main Yelp photo tbh), but I'm surely glad it did. Walking into the dimly lit and cozy bistro-like atmosphere, I was playfully greeted by a charming young gent (Antolin I know you're blushing) who graciously took care of our table for the evening, tending to our requests and entertaining us with his comical banter and mastery of mind tricks (invisible spraying truffle oil bottle truly shook me to my core). Now onto the food.. we ordered the: Pesto di Pomodori Secchi alla Putanesca, Penne alla Vodka, and Capellini al Aglio con Polpa di Grancio e Tartufo (thank goodness for copy and paste) all of which infused our taste buds with a blend of rich flavors and textural bliss. It all made sense when we learned that Antolin was also the master mind behind these dishes, fusing flavors from his Spanish heritage with those of Italian and French cuisines. What a truly lovely dining experience we were bestowed upon this evening! Antolin, if you're reading this.. I'll definitely be back for the honey lemon concoction you whipped up for me, what a delight!

It is certainly a famous spot and I can say by the crowd that was here when I visited the place. Food is terrific and I can feel the freshness of freshly cooked tomato sauce and the ingredients. The food really feels more alive here. It is a authentic Italian/Spanish restaurant so you might want to know what you are ordering. If not sure maybe ask your waiter ?. On the ambience side, I feel the place can maybe use some more lighting.I don't think there is any curbside pickup or you can order ahead.

Fantastic menu and fantastic food. Unfortunately I'm ignorant I can't pronounce the dishes without butchering it but the food came out great and I really enjoyed the ambience. It was hotter than hell in there when we ate but it didn't get in the way of our five star dinner. Wonderful service as well. Very entertaining server.

I had really high hopes for this place, as it seemed busy, and looked really nice. Sadly, I left restrained by my daughter, and girlfriend, from voicing my disappointment. Our Old Fashions were mostly ice and melt water, the caprese consisted of a few slices of a beef steak tomato, to pieces of mozzarella the size of peach pits, and two very sad, small, wilted leaves of basil. Our entrees were unremarkable, and when we declined on dessert the "gentleman" made a remark regarding the figures of both my daughter, and girlfriend. I can't say I'll be returning anytime soon.

Came on a Sunday evening. They were not crowded. The space is nice and somewhat romantic. Service was pleasant and attentive We started with their house made sangria. It was quite good with a nice blend of fruit flavors. The chichas appetizer was interesting, but did not have a ton of flavor and it needed the bread as an accompaniment. Their carbonara was very good. Nice flavor, not overly rich. Spaghetti with bay shrimp was also good. Finished off with the crème brûlée. Nice and creamy with rich flavor. All in all a very nice meal and worth hopping over from the Eastside.

This place is a gem. It was our first time trying out this place last night for my bf's bday. It's a small intimate setting perfect for a date night. Nice selection of wines. We ordered the calamari, which is grilled and so good! Love the flavors. We also ordered pork belly with pasta and the risotto. Both are highly recommend. Take the spicy oil they offer. It really adds to the flavor of the pasta. We also enjoyed that pesto butter! Staff was great too. Definitely recommend!

I can't believe this Italian restaurant is in my neighborhood and I'd never been. I've been on a pasta kick and friends wanted to have Italian for dinner. We ordered the Caesar salad - fabulous! If sharing, the large is the perfect size; we shared between four of us. Appetizer was a seasonal item, the hummus ravioli. They're huge and also kept our hunger at bay while we waited for our entrees. I ordered the linguine alle vongolé and it did not disappoint. I love me a good clam pasta and it was amazing! Portions were big and the chef didn't skimp on the clams. Topped it all off with two bottles of wine - a sangiovese and chianti. Service was impeccable. Buonissima!

This was such a cute, intimate Italian restaurant and the food were all so flavorful! Loved all of it: the bread with the side of pesto paste, penne alla vodka, and Capellini al Aglio con Polpa di Grancio e Tartufo! The habanero hot oil that everyone is raving about is really a must if you love spicy...really amps up the flavor of the dishes and adds a kick. I love vodka sauces and their sauce was amazinggg. I think this is one of the best Italian restaurants I've tried in Seattle. We will be back to try the paella and carbonara next time!

Food’s great! I love how this place gives a family restaurant feel. Everyone makes you feel at home. My husband said the tiramisu tastes like the one he had in Italy.

Excellent food for vegetarians! The pastas were delicious. Do try their spicy chilli oil with the pasta. The best tiramisu I have had. The restaurant staff and the chef are also so welcoming. Loved the experience!
