Amazing place, went once after Neumos, and had Maria who was amazing, and months later came back and just so happened to get her again. This time around I got to tell her about how great she made our last visit, which ofc was the start of another phenomenally hosted night led by herself. The food was great, got the Carne asada, the steak was amazing, maybe wish all the fixings like the rice and beans were hotter, or like a warmer plate, but it didn’t matter, the food didn’t last long
Nachos (plain), Carne Asada, and Horchata was what me and my dinner partner had, we both would recommend everything !
And, maybe I’m just broke, but the Horchata and the Carne asada felt pretty unrewarding considering the price. All praise is for flavor, and service. My Horchata was mainly ice, lol

Poquitos is a cozy restaurant with great food and even better service. Camillo was so friendly and welcoming, and he totally spoiled our table of 4. Thank you so much!

Food is not up to snuff. Underseasoned. You can now get much better and truly authentic Mexican at Antojitos Jalisco’s and the Birrieria place next door. Significantly tastier and cheaper. Mostly people go to Poquitos for the ambience it seems. Fogon is also better and has just as good ambience.

I'm really not usually this person, but this was next level bad.
I ordered the burrito with the yam - which was listed as an option for the fillings. The server asked if I wanted green or red salsa on top - asked like a direct option, not if I wanted to add it. I went with red. The burrito was small, the rice had some hard bits (stale or burnt I don't know), the yam was one note, and the red salsa was overly smoky and dominated the flavor. Truly one of the worst burritos I've ever had. Whatever, to each their own - maybe somebody else would like it.
When the bill came, the burrito was $18, the salsa was $3 (which - fine, that was on the menu and I didn't notice, but would have appreciated if the server presented it as an addition and not like it was included), but the yam WAS SIX DOLLARS. For (poorly prepared) yam?? It was listed on the menu as an option for filling without any indication it would be extra. So the price of one of the worst meals I've had was $27 - after tip and tax, $36. Hard pill to swallow.
My partners enmoladas were ok - the mole sauce was decent (pretty sweet) but covered all of the flavor and the portion was extremely small. He ordered a drink that was on the menu that the server hadn't even heard of and told us they were out.
I know Seattle prices are egregious, but this was on another level.

The service really brought the experience down. It's as if being a server is such a lost art anymore. Brutal to have to the also enter the tip in front of them. Does not justice 20%.

Fun and festive decorations - great for the holidays. Reservation was ready as planned. Food was outstanding, including some of the best mole chicken enchiladas I've had.
The food is great! The mini burritos, carne asada, and fajitas are all highly recommended. Their “rewards” program is a joke, however. It’s based on your form of payment and not phone number. You can’t use the free reward if you use a debit card one visit then a credit card or cash another. Strange set up.
