With the right expectation set, this is a good place to grab a certain kind of pies and I’m gonna want to revist again, so 5 stars. However, I do not know if I want to openly recommend this place to the other people unless they know what they are looking for.
The pies here reminds me of those I had in UK; crispy pastry texture with gooey and savory (often maybe too savory) inside ingredients. In that nostalgia context, I really loved the pies here. But I can also imagine that these aren’t really types of pies for everybody cause some people could find the flavor too greasy and/or strong. I found that Guineas meat pie had more salty flavor than the chicken pie.
Good flavors excellent crust with a friendly staff

Located on the waterfront, it has amazing food. Something different when surrounded by seafood. You can even dine outside weather permitting. I have visited the past few trips to PNW. Worth the visit. FYI. Lots of construction on the waterfront road. Park and walk the boardwalk.

I had the sausage meat pie and a mocha!
It was genuinely a fantastic mocha. Less sweet than Starbucks so you get a hint of chocolate with a better coffee taste (which is superior imo).
The sausage meat pie was also very good! It was a decent portion, and I only ate half but they do have small containers for take a way.
A very good alternative to the very busy Starbucks near by.

The pies are great! But the fees are ridiculous!!
Recommended dishes: Steak and Mushroom Pie
Both servers were fantastic, food was great, came here after having a bad experience a few doors down and they were the sweetest. Our server (who we loved platonically) was a sweetheart and made us feel right at home. Put two tables together for us immediately as soon as we walked in. It was a great experience!

Was here in May recently in the late morning.
Tried the steak and mushroom pie which was quite nice.
Good place for light refreshments and a rest after walking along the waterfront.
Been waiting for 8 minutes and substitution for everything but what I for.
Stay tuned.

Good early bird specials. They add on an additional 8 % on top of the state and city taxes for supplementing employees wages but don't tell you until you get the check and ask about it, and they remind you that this is not the tip. They explained that smaller businesses do this in Seattle.

I actually ordered delivery and did not go in person. Everything was so good that I definitely want to try more of the food. The pea salad is delicious!
Update: Was able to go to the restaurant today and was happy to have friendly service and delicious food.
There is also nice seating outside near the water.

This place was kind of a wow factor for me! The crust was like French croissant! I'd heard about it at nice restaurants. I just never had it before. It was incredible! It was much faster than expected. The service was great! Took my two girls with me they loved it 19 and 14. I live in Lacey, Washington, and I'd go to Seattle on the train again just for the pies!

I stopped in to get out of the rain and enjoy a quick bite before leaving on the ferry. I wanted comfort food as I was chilly and hung. I asked the friendly lady behind the counter about favorites and she suggested the steak and mushroom with mashed potatoes. I got the combo with a side and got a tomato basil soup. My fave!
I had paid at the counter, taken a seat, and very quickly my food arrived. Yum!!! The mashed potatoes and gravy were flavorful and there were tiny lumps of potatoes in the mashed potatoes so they looked to be real potatoes! Nice! The pasty on the pie was appropriately flaky and sopped up the gravy nicely. Chunks of beef and mushrooms were plentiful in the crust.
The tomato basil soup was very good too! A spattering of Parmesan cheese and chopped herbs were a nice complement.
I enjoyed this meal greatly for a quick drop by and will be back!
