Prost West Seattle is an absolute classic.
The beers are amazing—excellent German beers served the way they’re meant to be enjoyed. Pair that with authentic German food and you’ve got a place that truly rocks.
I’ve been coming here for 20+ years, and the quality, atmosphere, and consistency have never disappointed. It’s the kind of spot that becomes part of your routine and your memories—great beer, great food, and a welcoming, old-school pub vibe that’s hard to find these days.

Total craphole. The bartender was rude and told us we should skip the food because he had to make it the microwave and its NOT GOOD. Too bad the vibe tucked, i live across the street with alot of friends.

We always have such a great time at Prost! Delicious beers! My husband enjoys the Ayinger Brau Weisse. We also love the Seattle braut and the Bretzel sandwich. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, and especially so in 2025 with Smiley at the helm! She goes above and beyond for her customers and staff. Prost is most definitely a W Seattle gem.

My friend and I went here on Halloween and had a good time! The atmosphere and the costumes were fun. We were served by an amazing bartender Rachel, and the rest of the staff. The pretzels and beer cheese were pretty good, we also had the blackberry ginger cider on tap (great for those who don't like beer).

They also offer delicious food to accompany your choice of beer, with no wrong answers on that menu. Service not matter time of day is always warm and friendly - everyone is a regular here. We can't believe we have never been here before! It is incredibly cozy, the food was delicious, and the bartender was an absolute sweetheart! Despite being all alone and extremely busy, he was still attentive and took the time to explain German beer, which I admittedly knew very little about.
Needless to say, we left very impressed! Having never noticed this place before, my husband was kicking himself. We'll be back! Thanks, Brendan! 😋

We waited 45 minutes for our food and the food was not even that good. It wasn’t even crowded at all and our food tasted stale. They dropped my food on the ground though the woman apologized and said she would re make it. It took 20 minutes to remake half of the order I got and by the end I thought they had forgotten about it. I forgive her about dropping the food but the fact that we had to wait such a long time for just half of it to get here is not okay. I’m younger than 21 so I wasn’t at the bar I was in the restaurant part with my family for dinner. The people there seemed nice and for people going to the bar I think you’ll like it. But for someone who’s going there to go to the restaurant part I highly don’t recommend it.
