Strong drinks and cheap tacos in the bar! Steak special for $20 and you get two sides with it! Entrees are big and you’ll likely be taking some home! Family run.

I wanted to like this place because the server was really nice, but I got horrific food poisoning. I ordered a quesadilla with steak and at my first bite with just cheese it tasted a bit sour and sharp. I kept eating thinking that maybe I just wasn’t accustomed to the cheese blend they used. As I continued to eat I ate a piece of “steak” (really grisly) that had a fishy aftertaste. I stopped eating after that. I woke up at 3am with intense stomach cramps and had to make multiple trips to the bathroom until well into the afternoon.

We went out with a friend for dinner here on a Saturday night. Arrived around 6:30 and we were seated immediately. Started off ordering some jumbo sized margaritas, lime and mango. When I say jumbo sized I mean EXACTLY that..these things were HUGE! A fellow patron even commented on the size of them! Bonus points for them being extremely delicious AND potent (at least for a light weight such as myself)! For entrees we ordered the 2 pork tamales meal, the cancun platter and the pollo en crema meal. My cancun platter never fails, with the cheesy blend of crab, shrimp and chicken going well in flour tortillas. My wife's tamales were a lil underwhelming. The masa wasn't flavorful although the pork inside was quite tasty. Our friend enjoyed her pollo en crema dish, which she ordered without the mushrooms. Our server was excellent and overall the service was fantastic.

I can’t believe I’ve lived in west Seattle and have never been here before. We sat in the bar area and the food and service were both excellent! Lalo was our waiter and he went above and beyond - he even gave me extra hot sauce to take home (11/10 rating on their hot sauce btw). Looking forward to going back soon!

This place is amazing the food is excellent the chef is always willing to accommodate everybody. Some people weird like Antonio requested a burrito to be weirdly made that’s not even on menu then complains. Most of these bad reviews are just haters. If you want big portions of goodness this is the place.

Really wowed by this place. Wonderful classic family-style Mexican place. Open late, which has become a rarity! 1st time in a long time that I had reverse sticker shock eating out for 2 with a couple drinks. Fantastic chips and salsa. Still drooling over the verde sauce on their enchilada. Also always stoked to see a vegetarian section on any menu. The host/server was extremely kind. Cannot freaking wait to go back.

Just really the worst. I keep trying hoping for some low bar Azteca experience but this place can't match that. Rubbery carne asada. Weird salsa. Soggy crunchy taco. If you sit in the bar and get drunk then order it just might be better.

At chipotle across the street you can get a burrito and chips for around 15$. For the same price here, I got chips, salsa, a salad, a burrito, an enchilada, rice, and beans. And its some of the best mexican food ive ever had. Dont know what kind of wizardy they use here but if you want 3 meals for the price of 1 this is your place

Walked in here wondering if it was any good as it was empty. I decided to order a taco platter to start, was meant to be 6 mixed tacos (steak, chicken and pork) at $25 which was reasonable for a seat down restaurant as other places around here sell a taco for $10!
Ordered this to try it with my friend as a starter and then order more food if it was good. This was so good that we were both stuffed! Felt like 12 tacos and you truly could turn 6 tacos into 12 as they all came with double tortilla and enough meat to split it in two! And the grilled chillies just a great addition and generous amounts!
Don’t let the fact that the waitress is not Mexican trick you into thinking this is not real Mexican food because it is! Delicious, inexpensive and generous portions! Will be back for sure!

If you’re Latino, this is not the spot for you. I have given it a few tries, but it just never hits for me. My non-Mexican boyfriend however, has enjoyed every meal 🤷🏻‍♀️
I have not had any drinks here, so i cannot speak for their drinks.
