Ordered a $15 dollar special cheese crispie and a chili relleno for take out. I got all the way home and there was no chili relleno. The cheese crispie was the size of a tostada and half was inedible because it was stuck to the to go container. I couldn't have chiseled it out of I wanted to. It was supposed to come with sour cream, guacamole, tomato and green onion. I got a smear of guacamole, a heaping blob of sour cream, four diced tomato pieces and 3 half inch long cut green onions. Needless to say I was quite disappointed.

Standard Mexican restaurant, slightly above average food with average at best service. Felt like we got forgotten about a couple times and had to wait 12-15 minutes for our check.Complimentary salsa and the cabbage dish they give is a nice addition that sets them apart a bit. Give it a try if you want an affordable dinner!! Give the chille relleno (Mexican style) a try!!

The Wednesday lunch special of two enchiladas with rice and beans for only $9.50 was a steal! Solid family-style Mexican food served with chips and salsa, and a pickled cabbage slaw which was nice to have. Colorful Mexican decor inside, Root sports on the TVs, friendly and fast service. The food came out quickly and piping hot. Spacious place for a workday lunch, and has a couple large tables that would seat a group. Margaritas etc available, but I didn't get any. Soft drinks $4 with $1 refills. Normally mains are closer to $16-20.

AMAZING!!They allowed me to order something authentic & off-menu that I had wanted to try for a few years. It was absolutely fantastic!! No, I'm not going to say what I got, because I don't know if they want that kind of thing advertised. The two ladies that helped us were so incredibly kind and fun to chat with.Next time I visit the area, I WILL be back!!!

This is perhaps the worst Mexican restaurant I have ever eaten at. Even by comparison with other middle of the road Seattle mex places this is bad.If the owners/managers read this, I encourage them to visit a place like El Gallito in Madison Valley - same type of place but clearly superior fare. You can do better, guys!

Al, OWNED IT!I haven’t had genuine service since I can’t remember when, he was just himself, suggested different foods, not to mention 15 mn right before they closed, still enthusiastic, compassionate about serving food and drinks to the guest, wasn’t over the top, just genuine!! Its a place for sure. Like many of its other chains but smaller and a smaller staff. Staff ignored me on more than one occasion despite making eye contact. The food came out in a pool of grease so i couldnt even finish my meal. The horchata i had was probably the shining moment of the meal alongside the chips. Not my first choice in mexican food but there isnt too many options in this area.

The staff is always great. The food is just mediocre. There are much better and more authentic Mexican spots in WS but if you're looking for standard American Mexican food, this is your place.
Emily the server was exceptional, The whole time she made sure we had everything we needed, The only thing in my opinion is that they should let customers know that the portions are huge. Other than that food was great and prices were way cheaper than most Mexican restaurants around the Seattle

Usually enjoy the food and service. Tonight was not a good night. Not busy, but food took, what I feel, was twice as long as normal and the food was tepid in temp, which means the server did not pay attention to the food in the window. The food was meh this time around and the salsa somehow has changed and also was not as good as normal.
