Steak was great with the bone marrow butter. Duck breast did not shine as much as its accompaniment, but still good overall. Service, as always, was great. Our party has a lot of allergies and sensitivities to contend with and the staff and kitchen are always very helpful with that.

Came in for lunch yesterday and our service was really bad. We sat there for quite a while waiting to order while the server went to a table next to us that came in after. We heard her tell them about the specials, then came over to us and asked if we were ready? (No drink order, no special mentioned). We ordered an app, salads, and entrees. We got our app, then waited and waited. At this point we had been seated for 55 minutes. Our entrees finally came, lukewarm, and I told her we never got our salads. She said she thought we wanted them with our entrees. We waited another 5 minutes and here come our salads. She brought my mom some more hot water for her tea, and while pouring it poured it all over my mom's phone, and into her entree, at this point the server said “my bad.” The food was tasty, although not hot, and with that service I don't think we would be back.

Delicious food, that miso bacon burger is out of this world. Additionally, I have to give huge props to the water that came running down the block with my purse that I left behind as we walked to 5th Avenue Theater. That is going way above and beyond! Thank you!

The SHORT RIB PAPPARDELLE flavorless! The COQ AU VIN was good! Atmosphere was wonderful! I plan to give it a second try in the future, most likely for lunch and hopefully have a better experience.

Great food and service in a comfortable and funky space. The food served hot and tasty, and the staff were all attentive and engaging. We had the roasted cauliflower and the Coq au Vin, and some fine wine choices to go with them. Highly recommend Purple for a special night out.

For appetizers, the burrata with figs was lovely but the fries left something to be desired. Dinner was good, the fusilli alla vodka was a little extra spicy but very creamy, while the shishito-basil pesto was delicious. Can't go wrong with the caramels at dessert, but the creme brule was underwhelming with little flavor. Overall a solid meal, great service, and wonderful atmosphere.

It's always a joy to come to Purple. The service is spot on, food is on point, and Svetlana (our server on more than one occasion) is a delight. She is both attentive and engaging, but also knows the balance of making you feel welcome without being too much. She is very knowledgeable in her wine suggestions as well.

This was our first time to eat here and it was delicious. We sat at the bar and enjoyed the bartender giving us drink recommendations. Would highly recommend this restaurant to all!

Lovely attention to detail with the service, chef had prepared a plant based starter salad, so creative and delicious. Why don't more restaurants realize it's the plant based eaters that decide where the group is going?

This place is so beautiful inside and out! I loved the vibe and the staff were all friendly. An ample drink menu and also non alcoholic drinks. Perfect night cap for us while we were in town on vacation

Our server, Alejandro, was delightful, relaxed, funny and responsive. We had a lovely dinner ... I had the roasted cauliflower entree and my husband had the black cod. We both liked the cauliflower better, but we were both happy with what we ordered. A chenin blanc and a viognier and some of their salted caramels and we were on our way. I love this place.

Really great responsive service, food was decent. My mom's purple chopped salad had way more radicchio than ours, which she found off putting, but she was able to pick some out.

We arrived slightly ahead of our reservation time and were seated immediately. We were acknowledged quickly and courteously by our waitress. The meal was served quickly and was terrific. We had a great lunch!

Been to the Purple maybe 20 times since ~2008 but first visit in a couple years. Took our 21 year old there to celebrate her birthday and for the first time was completely underwhelmed by the place. The food was either cold (scallops), goopy (gnocchi), dry (chicken), soggy (burger). It was a rare snow day in Seattle and the restaurant was quiet, and they were closing the kitchen early that night, but still, the food was wildly off previous experiences and my 21 year old left wondering why we took her there if it was so bad. Minor gripe, but didn't like the QR code menu....got a paper one but it was tiny and the wine list (previously a book) was just a couple loose leaf sheets. Hope that helps.
