If you’re expecting decent good food this wouldn’t be the place. If you want steamed oily, freezer burn, and way too much fish sauce and salt this would be the place to go. It looks almost like fine dining for an Asian restaurant but I feel like the run down place across the street would’ve been better. Spent $70 for dishes I didn’t even want to pack and give to the homeless. Place was empty at 2pm in the afternoon.

I am too polite, I would of sent everything back but once again I paid $70 for food that that is just not good atol.
Sampled 4 different steamed dishes and didn't finish a single thing. Notably the pork is a processed Spam sort, the steamed sticky rice has the same pork meat in it for some reason, so its greasy sticky rice and not the traditional sticky rice.
Left $70 of food sitting on the table....

This place has become my go-to restaurant in Seattle thanks to their super nice staff, great food, and late hours. A dumpling soup and a side of sticky rice always fills me up without being too costly. The staff are also so nice, serving us tea and making sure we're comfortable at our seats. I have had zero complaints so highly recommend them.

Purple Dot Cafe is always reliable, Great late-night spot with tasty food and fast service. The staff is available and the atmosphere is cozy. They raised the prices of the small menu from $5 to $7 but the sizes are the same.

This has long been one of my go-to spots for late night dining. My only criticism is that they now add a 15% service charge, which you briefly see on the hand written slip before they swipe your card, but the signature slip shows only the total including the tax and the fee, so it’s easy to miss. I didn’t see an advance notice either, though it is likely buried somewhere in the menu. Now the service was worth me tipping a little above the service fee, they will even pack your leftover food for you to take home, but it still struck me as a bit dishonest.

Great/Fast service, free tea was nice, portion sizes were filling. The restaurant looked nice but had a slightly weird smell. Extensive menu. Food was good.

Stopped in for lunch. Everything was amazing. Dim sum super fresh and hot. Peking duck crispy skin and moist meat. Delicious. Service was absolutely fast and friendly.

Very comforting.
The rice noodle shrimp were like little pockets of shrimp in the rice noodle... outstanding.

Great option after sporting events! Chinatown is flooded with hungry fans some nights and this restaurant is a good place to go if you’re one of them. Friendly service, hot tea, generous portions of delicious food. It’s a little sticky in places but so are you. I highly recommend the huge shrimp and big flavorful bowls of congee.

No complaints about their food or service, just their credit card machine that doesn't work at the time. Bring some cash as backup.

It's an interesting restaurant. They have non-Chinese menu items and that interests me. Like how did they ? ..
