As soon as you walk in, the smell of freshly baked baguettes hits you immediately. There’s no other bakery in the area that has this effect.
There’s not a lot of hype around this place, but there’s always a line here, even on a random weekday. The banh mi is so worth it., and ingredients are always fresh. One of my favorite spots for banh mi.

Nicely priced banh mi shop which also sells bread and small Vietnamese grocery items. A banh mi here will run you ~$7, a bread roll ~$0.50, a coffee or smoothie ~$5. Fresh and straightforward place, and pretty quick too. I enjoy the grilled pork banh mi but they're all yummy. A bit understuffed meat wise, but still reasonable.

Absolute BEST location and price for authentic Banh Mi's in Seattle, hands down!! Been going to this exact location since forever ago and they always have the freshest and best tasting baguettes and banh mi's! Small authentic shop, 2 lines to order, and they now give you a number buzzer while you wait for your sandwiches to be made! Bread made in house! They also offer other tasty treats like chinese donuts, sesame buns, pork humbao, banh pate, and more! You cannot beat the prices!
#11 Banh Mi Dac Biet (combo), #8 Beef, and #14 Grilled Pork, Pork Bao, and Banh Pate are our go-to's!

Today I visited Q Bakery for the first time — and it was absolutely amazing!
I ordered the Bánh Mì Đặc Biệt (Special Combo) and Bánh Patê Sô, and both exceeded my expectations.
The sandwich had an incredibly fresh baguette — crispy on the outside, soft on the inside — with a generous amount of filling. The meat was juicy, the vegetables fresh and aromatic. Everything was perfectly balanced in flavor, making every bite a pleasure.
The Bánh Patê Sô was pure delight! Flaky, buttery pastry with tender, juicy meat inside. Served hot, straight from the oven — a true treat.
The prices are great, especially for Seattle — for this level of freshness and quality, it’s a real gem. And the best part — it’s only five minutes from my home. I’m already looking forward to coming back and trying more from the menu!
Thank you, Q Bakery, for the taste, atmosphere, and warm impression. I will definitely be back!

I recently bought their chạo tôm, which is a hot and greasy food item. They put it in a plastic-lined paper bag, which isn’t suitable for wet or oily food, it could easily rip. I asked if they could use a container instead, and they said it would cost me an extra dollar. I suggested they consider using proper packaging, like a paper box, if they’re selling hot food like this.
When I asked to speak with the manager, the man at the counter said he was both the manager and the owner (Brian), then laughed and giggled with his employee instead of taking my concern seriously.
To make things worse, I noticed they charged me for something I didn’t buy. When I pointed it out, he laughed again and handed me back the exact amount in cash even though I had paid by Visa card. He didn’t refund the tax I was charged.
The whole experience felt careless and unprofessional. I’m sharing this so others can be aware: check your receipt carefully, and don’t expect great customer service here. It honestly felt like they didn’t care and were trying to take advantage of customers.

Our favorite bánh mì spot in Seattle, especially for grabbing right before a hike. Amazing bread and flavorful, satisfying, and balanced filling.
My favorites are the BBQ pork and the special combination.
We have taken several out-of-town friends here, and two have requested a stop specifically at Q Bakery on their way to the airport so they can have more bánh mì before heading out 😋😋😋

greeted me in Vietnamese which i appreciated. its not the best banh mi, but the bread is fresh, and its cheap , $6 in an expensive area of seattle. 100g baguette w/100g very thinly chicken thigh, 50g of carrot/daikon, a cucumber slice , cilantro, and thinly sliced jalapeno.

Bahn mi is what's well known here but don't miss the smoothies! Great texture, lots of fun flavor options, and more affordable than other smoothie places nearby.
Nothing but carbs and sugary treats. Great place for comfort food

The place is alright, though these kinds of places can be very crowded during the weekends, it is still a place my mom would regularly visit due to their good quality Vietnamese sandwiches.
