Good espresso and cappuccino in a very cute building and area. My espresso was good, woody and sour notes, one of the better in Seattle. My wife’s cappuccino, which was good without sugar, was also above par, and exceptional by American standards.
The coffee is great in and of itself, but the atmosphere elevates this cafe: a cozy space on a quiet street with beautiful views. Trolleybus 14 takes you right up to it, and it’s a perfect place to sit and relax on a rainy day!

The baristas and cashier really saved this visit for me.
Our barista was very nice and I felt like the service was great. It was very cozy with just one barista and one checker and they were working together very well and created a very welcoming environment.
We spent $37 to purchas two turkey pesto sandwhiches, a 16oz iced matcha with lavendar agave and a 16oz iced cardamom pistachio latte, the matcha was fun and fairly nice, but a little too sweet. The latte was kind of terrible actually. Very bitter, very much a savory drink Wich may just have been a personal preference but both of us found we did not like that the cardamom latte also had a bunch of cardamom floating at the bottom so you have to position your straw in the middle of the cup to avoid a mouthful of spice and chunks

The coffee, service, and environment is so excellent. The beans, flavor, the quality of execution each of the baristas do is so amazingly consistent. The community that has been cultivated here at QED makes for an unforgettable coffee experience. ❤️😁I love this place! So grateful it’s in our neighborhood.

Adore this tiny little cafe. The staff are always friendly and welcoming, working hard to make this little spot tick. I love grabbing a little breakfast, whether it be a sandwich, pastry, etc., and a cortado. There is only a little bit of seating inside, so know that if you're planning to stick around, but I do love grabbing a spot in the window or outside on the sidewalk. The location is smack in between a beautiful view of the city and a beautiful view of I90/Lake Washington and the mountain. One of my favorite local spots to visit in Seattle.

I just adore QED. The staff and the owner, Matt, are a joy to be around when I am getting my daily egg sandwich. I don't drink coffee but my husband drinks enough for both of us! He goes twice a day at least b/c he loves it so much. Everyone should experience a bit of QED in their life!

Great shop with great employees what care about what they do and your experience. It's a small company with only 2 locations and that make all of their own pastries. Not sure if it's the same with the breakfast items but they are very tasty. They also have a very easy to use loyalty program that is generous in is pay outs. So if you're tired of the big chains this place is welcome change of pace
