Coffee was great, but I couldn’t say this is the most comfortable coffee place I’ve been to. Very clean though!!

Cute local shop, got a cold brew with agave lavender syrup (house made). Super quick and great atmosphere, about the same price as most coffee shops. Non-chain.

Came up to QED to meet a friend and was just so happy with the experience here. Cozy space, awesome barista who is super friendly, and really delicious Americanos. Cannot recommend enough. Well worth a visit for a nice little community coffee spot.

Okay service, the coffee really does not taste good though honestly. The espresso tasted burned and they make their own syrups which are somehow very bitter instead of sweet

This listing is old, their new atmosphere is oppressive and they do not serve tacos, which was the only reason we were going there. Their seating area has shrunken dramatically as well.

A real inconvenience they do not accept cash. I am not the only one in the neighborhood that thinks this. The worker did comp me free coffee but, I still felt rushed out.I was literally out of breath after pushing myself in my wheelchair uphill to come there and get breakfast and some coffee.I just needed a moment to gather my thoughts and I felt ushered out.

The pastries are great and the staff are always very welcoming and kind. Also the atmosphere is really nice with some plants and nice decor, with some seating.

This place holds ultimate power. A 16 oz latte contains 4 shots of espresso. I have never gotten more done on a Friday than I did after drinking this. So friendly as always and a great spot to take a quick break.

I was recently visiting my daughter in Seattle and QED soon became part of my daily routine. I loved their coffee and morning glory muffin but even better was their baristas. Jennifer was especially friendly and helpful and stopping here was the perfect way to start the day!

Great coffee! I've only had The Elements, and it's so good, I haven't bothered to try the others yet. PLEASE NOTE that their Capitol Hill store closes at 2 pm M - F, not 5 pm as stated on their website.

TLDR; easy to access but a little pricey for what you get. I went here for the first time today after needing a little pick me up during work. I had taken the streetcar and saw QED right there so I figured I'd give it a try. I didn't want to go crazy on the caffeine so I got a chai latte. Unfortunately, the chai was kinda rough. It was pretty heavy on the cinnamon but tasted like watered down tea, not the robust taste I idus ally expect from chai. For $8 after tip I was pretty bummed with how it tasted ): Everything was pretty expensive there, and maybe the coffee would be worth it, but the chai was not. Right next to the Seattle Streetcar drop off, QED coffee is really easy to access from public transit, although the sidewalk at the nearest crosswalk is out of commission so be prepared to reroute.
