Your Beloved Mother ..

Some of the best authentic Chinese food in Seattle (tastes like home). Pig ear was soooo crunchy and spicy, definitely worth trying. The pork in my pulled noodles was very tender; they're a bit salty on their own, but pair well with the noodles. Restaurant itself is small and quiet, not too many people which is sad considering how good the food is. If you get the chance to, please eat here before they close (4/28/24). I'm not sure why they're closing, but i'm very sad that I only found out about this place today :(

Delicious! The restaurant is small but service is good. The biang biang noodles were amazing!

Disappointing. The food was bland and a lot of menu items were not available to order. Noodles were ok…overcooked and not very chewy.

I wish I would've taken a closer look before eating. It's incredible dirty in the kitchen, and I can say with confidence the cook goes hours without changing his gloves. My bowl came with about a tablespoon of "chicken" which was mostly bones and skin.

Came at early dinner time. Taste: Slightly below the average, the food did not taste like Xi'an style. But salty for me. Service: mostly self service ( seat yourself, order from QR code). Not bad. But looks like the lady( the owner I guess?) seems to be confused on orders, do not think they can handle orders well when the place gets busy. Just change my mind, cut it to 2 stars. Due to the attitude when I try to get my check.

Avoid. Came here on a whim while visiting Seattle. The weather was cold so we were craving something warm. Have had hand pulled noodles before at other restaurants and they were amazing. We don't really have a location near us so we were excited to try them. Upon entering, there's no where to wait and very limited seating. When you do get to sit down, the first thing we noticed were the rather dirty tables. Should have left then, but we've been to some hole in the wall places with good food so we took a chance. A lot of the menu options were unavailable, including the knife cut noodles. Mind you this was the afternoon so I'm not sure how they were out of most items. One of the guys was making the hand pulled noodles, but never actually saw him cook them. I think he was stretching the same noodles every now and then for show. Paper cups were provided with water and we never got any refills. We ordered via QR code and our food came out in less than 5 minutes. There's no way that was made fresh and it as definitely reheated. Parts of my meat were actually still cold, the bok choy (which was extra $) was so mushy, like it had been sitting in the broth for a long time. The broth itself didn't really have any flavor either. There was a lot of noodles, probably to fill you up, and hardly any meat. The cucumber salad" was just sliced cucumbers that looked very soft and not very crunchy. I didn't finish my dish and my husband only said it tasted fine with all the extra chili "sauce" he added. The sauce was just a bunch of oil missing all of the chili flakes you normally find. Definitely was not refilled. However, maybe half hour later, he ended up throwing it all up and I'm 100% sure it was food poisoning. We definitely won't be coming back if we visit.

Insanely delicious. Saw a travel review about this spot and hiked up the long hill over the highway to get here. Although it was a hike from my hotel the food was totally worth it. I got the hot oil hand pulled noodles with beef and they were absolutely delicious. It's a huge portion!! I will definitely be back if I come back to Seattle. You order via QR code and pay at the end with the waiter. Cute ambiance. 7 tables total. Thanks for having me!

Noodles are truely hand pulled as you can tell from their uneven thickness. I think it is done rather amateurly. The beef in the beef noodle soup is still cold. It feels like they just added 酱牛肉 in.

The food, service, and dining experience (cleanliness/ambiance) is overall a 2-3 star rating. I ordered the popular option beef noodles with vegetables and there was hardly any beef or vegetables ( which I had to pay extra for). In terms of service- you seat yourself, order from a QR menu, any pay up at the counter as you leave. Don't expect anyone to seat you, interact with you, prior to paying your bill. I wasn't even offered water with my meal. If it wasn't for the meager beef portions, I'd probably say this would be a great take out spot.

[Re-posting: Visited on Dec 30th, 2023] My wife and I had lunch here on a rainy Saturday afternoon, and recommend this restaurant enthusiastically to all readers. After reviewing the menu and talking to the chef/noodle-maker, Janbo, we ordered the Hand Pulled Braised Beef Noodle Soup, Hot Oil Seared Biangbiang Noodles with bok choy, and Pork and Chive Dumplings. First, the atmosphere is casual and friendly. Janbo, who speaks English and Russian, was welcoming, and described how he learned his technique by mimicking his teacher, who only speaks Mandarin. He then happily demonstrated stretching and pulling the noodles by hand; it's fun to watch how he pulls these noodles as long as he can without breaking them. The flat Biangbiang noodles were deliciously chewy and perfectly spiced; I'm definitely getting this dish again the next time. The round hand-pulled noodles served with the Braised Beef noodle soup were perfectly tender; with the light broth and braised beef, it made for a delicious meal! Finally, while the pork and chive filling inside the dumpling was very good, the shell was underwhelming (they're known for noodles after all, not dumplings). Overall, this place is an excellent choice if you are craving delicious hand-pulled noodles! We'll definitely go back here again.

This was some of the best food that I've ever put in my mouth. The room was cold, BUT the food itself made up for that 10 fold. Highly recommend!!!
