Queer Bar... it's an institution on the Hill. Right now, the holiday vibes are out of this world, I have to say. I'd come here more if the drag shows weren't so deafening, but it's a really lovely community space with great vibes all the time. Right now though, it's the best place I can think to feel outrageously festive, cozy, happy, and to have a lovely time.

No customer service in the category of communication. I’ve used their contact us form on their website multiple times and they are not contacting me back. No phone number to call anyone. No email to contact anyone. They have rudely kept my money from a cancelled reservation and are not contacting me back with my multiple messages. I will not be attending anything Queer/Bar related ever again.

I will always recommend queer/bar to everyone I know looking for a great drag experience, great drinks, and great music. It can be hard to find a place that hits the right balance of nostalgic hits and modern/contemporary music that keeps the dance floor popping, but queer/bar never misses. The drinks are also very TASTY which is much appreciated 😁

I wish there was another bar in Seattle that was the “”main”” drag bar. I know it’s not their fault the shape of the space but it is a MISERABLE venue for a drag show. The layout of the whole place is abysmal not to mention completely inaccessible. Yes there is a ramp to the stage but regardless there would be no space for a wheelchair.

I went here alone to see one of my favorite drag queens, as a friend had bailed on me. They should rename this place gay™️/bar. Gay men take up so much space they have no problem edging out queer femmes. I couldn’t even place my arm on a standing bar without getting nasty looks from these dudes. Every space I moved to around the venue I was glared at or asked to move. It was really disappointing and I have no desire to go back here regardless of who performs. This is not, in my opinion, a queer friendly bar. It’s for Gay Men because they’ve dominated the space…as men do. They have no awareness of the physical space they take up. It’s garbage that this bar is advertised as queer. Its not, it’s male dominated.

Also I prepaid online tickets for 35$ each and at the venue the folks ahead of me paid 20$ at the door. That’s the opposite of how MOST venues operate.

Came here with friends for the drag show and we definitely had a great time, the performers were amazing! The only thing that threw me off was the pricing. It’s $25 if you want booth seating, but no one tells you until after you pay that it’s first come, first serve, so there’s no guarantee you’ll actually get a booth. General admission is $15, and you can stand or grab a seat if there’s one open. Paying an extra $10 just hoping for a booth kinda feels off, especially when it’s not clearly explained upfront. Still, I totally recommend checking out the show, it’s super fun! Just maybe skip the booth upgrade unless you’re planning to get there early.

Man, don’t buy the VIP tickets for Queer/Pride. Turns out there isn’t a separate line for VIP, you’ll be waiting an hour to get in with everyone else. No view of the stage from VIP. Literally worthless. Security told us there wasn’t a separate VIP entrance despite there being a sign. What a scam. For $340 you’re better off doing literally anything else for your weekend.

The service was incredibly slow and they were out of both drinks we ordered. Even though they had a food menu you had to order through a kiosk that wasn’t working. After 5min or so trying to get the staffs attention they told me to just go next door and order. So frustrating. Hot mess.

Sometimes they're in your own community. Today I had the misfortune of seeing Brooke "Littleb" spending their time online Laugh reacting to someone who made a comment about how they hope Jax Grattons family gets justice. When I called her out about it, she called me a purebred retard. As a bisexual female, I would never in my life think that the person working the counter behind a gay bar would ever refer to someone as a retard, let alone laugh because people are wishing a dead trans persons family gets justice. disgusting behavior.

We pre-purchased four high top seats for an event. We were moved 3 times! Eventually being seated at the back of the stage next to a speaker, it was so loud we left. The management is pretty careless and not welcoming- the exact opposite of what they expect from patrons.
