Queer Bar... it's an institution on the Hill. Right now, the holiday vibes are out of this world, I have to say. I'd come here more if the drag shows weren't so deafening, but it's a really lovely community space with great vibes all the time. Right now though, it's the best place I can think to feel outrageously festive, cozy, happy, and to have a lovely time.
I will always recommend queer/bar to everyone I know looking for a great drag experience, great drinks, and great music. It can be hard to find a place that hits the right balance of nostalgic hits and modern/contemporary music that keeps the dance floor popping, but queer/bar never misses. The drinks are also very TASTY which is much appreciated 😁
Came here with friends for the drag show and we definitely had a great time, the performers were amazing! The only thing that threw me off was the pricing. It’s $25 if you want booth seating, but no one tells you until after you pay that it’s first come, first serve, so there’s no guarantee you’ll actually get a booth. General admission is $15, and you can stand or grab a seat if there’s one open. Paying an extra $10 just hoping for a booth kinda feels off, especially...
