Delightful dinner here! Love the ambience. Quinn's Burger and the fish and chips were both DELICIOUS! The server was very personable, welcoming, and efficient.
Food was solid but not mind blowing. I think you can probably find better food in the same genre in the area but I really liked the poutine fries.
Kid-friendliness: The entire neighborhood is pretty bar/adult oriented

Overall good time and food. Would come back for sure. I thought the happy hour from 4-6 was not on Fridays and Saturdays but learned it was after the fact. I wish that had been clearer online. But good to know for next time!

Went there at 10:15 PM a few weeks ago and they were already closed. Did they get new hours or something?
Otherwise the food/drinks are amazing there.

Great lil gastropub with a sick happy hour, stiff drinks, and delicious food. They have a 20% service charge on all purchases however, which is a major let down.

Solid experience overall (decent food, great service, nice atmosphere). We were seated upstairs and it was HOT. Only a single person served the entire place but he did a fabulous job!
In the early days, Quinn's was sooo great, and now it's just not anywhere near the same. It's sad actually. The service was EXCELLENT, I actually felt bad for them. The food however, was terrible. The scotch egg was cold in the middle and over cooked on the outside. We didn't finish it, they were kind enough to offer to fix it, they did the right thing by taking it off the check. The other dish we ordered was good- we finished that because we were hungry, but the bread was a little stale and could have used a touch of oil or butter or something. We won't be returning. Let's hope a new owner/chef with a bold vision and a fresh perspective decides too take a risk and opens an amazing restaurant to take over this once beautiful wonderful gastropub. Again, the staff/service was so great. Just bummed that the food and menu didn't deserve the staff.
Automatic 20% tip
Decent blue cheese burger. Steak frites were $32 and super tough. Way overpriced. $105 for a burger, steak frites and 3 drinks. Worst of all was mandatory 20% service fee that doesn’t go to staff. With prices as overpriced as they were for average to poor food, a service fee is unforgivable.

Staff were wonderful but I was so disappointed that despite reserving a table we were put upstairs. There was no atmosphere, we essentially had this wide area to ourselves. Great for chatting and catching up but....service was a bit slow as a result, although all servers were very nice. Food was underwhelming and cold when we got it...good pub, just don't go hungry

I went here Friday night with my family.
I ordered a beer pretzel which was not good.
Also fish and chips that we ordered was so bad. No flavor it’s under seasoned. Breaded fish was soggy from the fish juice.
I not recommend here.

I ordered delivery to the hospital for my family member and it was such a blessing to see him enjoy one of his favorite foods, beer battered fish and chips (well, they were fries). The person I spoke with was so helpful as I am not from the area.

My complaints are mostly towards policy made by owners/management. Our wait staff was great!
Pros: nice server and fantastic cocktails
Cons:
- have 20% service fee that is stated on the menu BUT you don’t really notice since you use a QR code to access a pdf of the menu.
- you then have to pay via an app that includes the service fee and THEN AUTOMATICALLY ADDS AN ADDITIONAL TIP TO YOUR TOTAL! The only adjustment you could make was to include additional tip!
-We literally paid $80 in just tip/service fee for a meal for 4! 3 burgers and a Mac & cheese + 4 beers & 4 cocktails.
-my medium well burger was served medium and still pink in the middle. This is extra annoying since my mediocre Quinn’s burger was $22.
I don’t mind tipping my servers. I would’ve happily given her $40. It’s just that you didn’t let it be my choice and made me pay an additional $40 bucks because you don’t want to bother paying your employees a living wage yourself.
If you want to include a service fee, could you make it a flat rate or just increase the price of food so I know what my total will be ahead of time?
If you wouldn’t have charged the service fee & forced tip, I would’ve been happy to return just for the fabulous cocktails. But due to sneaky price gouging, no one in our party will ever return or recommend your business.

Got ripped off here with a 20% service charge for mediocre food and slow service. They don’t tell you when you pay that the tip is on top of the service charge.
