Came here at night before and dealt with staff that seemed annoyed with us even walking in and received a very disappointing dessert they heated up in the microwave. Not worth at all.

The fella behind the counter was super informative, attentive and thoughtful. I admit I initially thought the prices were a bit steep but after one bite I was like, “Alright I get it.” I purchased the tangerine almond cake and my partner picked the s’mores tarts and both were fantastic!

The “bar” had not only no infrastructure for customers to eat the dessert, but the lobby is filled with signs telling customers that they are not allowed to sit and eat the desert. Also I thought the desert “lemon cake” was crumbling and dry. Go somewhere else.

The key to my heart is something sweet and that is what I got at R+M Dessert Bar. The Nutella Cheesecake was divine. The person who treated me got the S'Mores Tart and it was good but I preferred my cheesecake honestly. I wished they had the Guava cheesecake, when I come back that is the dessert I want!

Got two different kinds of cheesecake and they were both so different and delicious we had to come back and try more! A delightful place to snag a fancy dessert and a glass of wine.

Just stopped by for the first time. Lovely atmosphere, pastry chef, selection of treats. Bought: carrot cake, key lime tart, chocolate brownie ice cream and triple chocolate cake. In particular, the size of the servings is ideal. Carrot cake was light and flavorful, icing and caramel drizzle perfect. Triple chocolate cake was balanced, not too sweet. Ice cream was very much like homemade, in the best possible imagining with chunks of brownie. Will definitely return and highly recommend. Would like to dine in next time to pair desserts with wine.

Very good little pricey but taste covers a bit of it

Everything I got was excellent, but the standouts were the triple chocolate cake (which is served with instructions for warming at home) and the blueberry tart. They have a rotating menu but I think the triple chocolate cake is always there. They aren't doing their seated service at the moment (maybe never again at this location?) but their takeout is plenty worth it. Just a heads-up, they don't have anything vegan and maybe only a few gluten-free options, but I'm not sure.

Happened to be in town and decided to doordash ice cream from this place, best idea i made so far because that Marionberry Pie Ice Cream just blew my mind 💥❤️💫

1st thing, this place smells amazing, the service was phenomenal, and the triple chocolate cake is to die for.

Got the triple chocolate cake; even though I generally avoid really rich chocolate (just not for me most of the time), it was awesome. A chocolate lover would be in heaven! Service was prompt and polite, and the cashier even offered heating instructions if I wanted to warm it up at home and how to handle the box to accommodate the gnache.
All my complaints are minor pain points. Namely, the bakery is a bit hard to find from the street since you need to go into an apartment building; the display area is cramped, with alcohol in particular being a bit weird to spot; and there is no seating, so you'll have to find seating elsewhere, which is irksome on a cold night.
Kid-friendliness: R+M serves alcohol but is not a 21+ establishment. Nonalcholic drinks are available. Kids will probably enjoy most of the dessert offerings.

Triple chocolate cake was delicious, but a bit expensive. All the options were pricey. There is no where to sit so you can only take the food to go, even though they offer to heat it up. The service was great and I would go back.

A charming little dessert shop with a nice selection, though I found it slightly overpriced for the flavor. The desserts are good, but they didn’t quite wow me. That said, it’s still a lovely spot to grab a treat—perhaps the offerings just weren’t to my personal taste.
