My partner and I went there a little while back and found the ambiance to be lovely and the servers to be very professional and friendly. The food however... My partner ordered a pasta dish that came undercooked - not al dented - undercooked. Just to be transparent on how I know the difference - I've lived with an Italian, visited the country many times, and often frequent Italian restaurants in the city, so I hope you believe me when I say this is an informed opinion. My partner also went to culinary school and used to be a cook. My own meal (black cod) was extremely overpriced for the amount of food that arrived on my plate, and the taste was fine. Not bad not good just fine. We also tried many other things on their menu, and did not find anything to be truly standout. I don't want to be too harsh because the people working there are lovely but, I won't be going back.

Everything was just great; service, food, table. But there was a noisy table right behind ours and it was obtrusive and made conversation difficult. It's a fairly small space and some normal noise expected. I didn't complain as it may have created an issue and interrupted our meal. This can happen anywhere I know, but it's worth reporting for an authentic review. Otherwise, perfect. I'll be back.

Had NYE dinner here and it was a vibe. The staff was great and the food was delicious. We will be back to try the while menu since we were dining on a night with a prix fixe menu.

The only negative about sitting upstairs at night is that the windows are next to an alley that has a hair trigger alley light that turns on and blinds you ever so often 😂

Just had a New Year’s Eve dinner here and the food was tasty and the service from our server was great.

However, the restaurant adds a 22% service charge. On the bottom of the receipt, it states that only 16% of that goes to the staff and the entire service charge is added before tax, so you’re also paying tax on the service charge itself. By the time everything is added up, it feels more like a 30%+ add-on before you even consider tipping extra.

I’ve worked in the service industry for years and prefer to tip in cash so I know it goes directly to the people taking care of me. So, while the meal was wonderful, this policy leaves a bad taste in my mouth. When I asked our server about it, she said they’ve tried to get management to change it. But we all know that’s unlikely to happen.

I truly hope the staff is getting what they deserve, but I won’t be adding an extra tip on top of a mandatory service fee that’s also taxed. I’d happily tip 25% if it went to the people serving us — but according to the receipt, only 16% does, and the rest goes… somewhere else.

I absolutely love the food at Raccolto. Although they were very busy on New Year's Eve they still managed to provide decent service. However, after our second course was delivered we didn't see our server again until the end. I planned to order another drink but no one came back around so that was very disappointing. My primary issue is how absolutely freezing cold the restaurant is when you're seated near the door! Every time the door opens(and it opened frequently) freezing cold air would blast into the restaurant straight on to every table within the main part of the restaurant. It's very difficult to thoroughly enjoy the food when you're bundled up in your large coat and gloves to stay warm which I was forced to do for the better part of my meal. I really wish the restaurant would address this issue. Overall it's a lovely restaurant and the food never disappoints.

This was our annual early-seating New Year Eve and Anniversary celebration for the two of us. We are blessed to have Raccolto within walking distance. The service was, and is always, extraordinary. The special New Years Eve menu was outstanding. It can be noisy, depending more on groups of 4 and how the acoustics work there. But it was all couples last night and we also had an enjoyable conversation with a couple at an adjoining table. What can I say more than this is our go-to place for a very special evening, and also where we delight to take visiting friends and family.

Amazing experience! The wait staff was so kind and brought out fresh bread for my birthday. Portions seem small but are quite filling. Overall, great experience and I loved it!

A great place to get Italian and American food in West Seattle. Very great service and great ambience. My favorite dish was their pasta followed by the salmon Crudo, which was a bit thicker than most places I’ve had before. Their burger was good too, had a classic taste to it. Overall, I recommend and would come back.

We were really looking forward to this dinner, especially at a $200 price point, but the experience fell short. There were long gaps between courses (about 20 minutes each time) which made the meal feel drawn out in a way that didn’t add to the experience.

We were originally told the protein would be rack of lamb, but once the four-course meal began, it was switched to cod. The dishes overall leaned heavily tart and sour, with very little balance from course to course. Even the dessert carried that same sharp profile. Some of the greens were unfortunately burned, and the meal didn’t sit well once we got home.

The service was great, but for the cost and expectations, the food and pacing just didn’t quite come together.

The dinner was delicious and the service was lovely. My only complaint was that the dessert was not good at all. It was my friends birthday and we ordered the olive oil cake and ate 2 bites cause it was straight up gross. =(And we were charged for it which was an extra bummer.)

The food neither warranted the price in terms of taste, quality, or quantity. Salmon crudo was $23 for less than 2oz of salmon. It tasted fine. The bread service was pretty good, as was the agnolotti. Wagyu steak was 50 something dollars and was average. It also took quite a while to get our food - we arrived at 6:25 and got our mains at 7:30.
