I'm not sure if it was because of the restaurant week preset menu, but the food was not at the level it needs to be for a restaurant that charges $50 per person. The cocktail and wine menu are good, the service is good, and the ambience is solid. The food just misses.

Honestly, nothing about the menu stands out. The flavors are mediocre at best. I would not recommend going here unless they rethink their approach to food.

Edit: The day after...
Thinking about the dishes more, they didn't execute on their menu. For example the "crudo" which is supposed to be raw fish with citrus was served as raw fish with a dollop of cream... One of the most simplest dishes completely misrepresented.

Got an appetite, this is the place to go! We started with the Burrata, the creamy smooth burrata on the perfectly toasted crostini with the dressing is a must. My mouth is watering as I think about the burrata. I had the Strozzarepetti for dinner. The mint in the title gave me some reservation on ordering, but it was very palatable! I will definitely order this meal again. Highly suggest trying this restaurant. The servers were very attentive, even though the place was packed. Bring a sweater, it was a chilly night, and it was a little chilly in the restaurant.

Vegetarian options: Limited vegetarian options but the dishes that were served, were scrumptious. My wife had the Cavatelli and she enjoyed it very much. The poached egg is a great protein option and it paired well with the dish.

Chefs kiss to the perfect al dente bite on my pasta dish. The Dungeness crab salad was melt in your mouth, but could do without the apple base. Sat at the bar and enjoyed the ambiance with a delicious dinner. Tiramisu passed with flying colors ❤️

Speechless! First time I’ve been at a loss for words. If you’re considering Italian- GO! We had a lovely anniversary dinner there, everything was perfection.

One of the greatest Italian restaurants in West Seattle! The quieter atmosphere and moody lighting gives it a sense of having fantastic food with the closest people in your life.

PROS: The food was really outstanding. They make their own pastas and breads and everything is simple and fresh. Dishes are intended to be shared. CONS: Our server was inattentive, so the meal took two hours. We were constantly trying to catch his eye to remind him of something he forgot. The restaurant also adds a 4% surcharge (not shared with staff) that is not well disclosed in advance. Very noisy.

We visited on a Tuesday for a birthday dinner, and had a great meal. We had the tasting menu and wine pairing. The food was awesome—some standouts were the bucatini, carrot salad, and tartare. The portions and pacing of the meal were great; I really liked the generous starter course. The wine selections were good too, all delicious, but some pairings went better with the food than others for me.

The service charge is a bit silly, but I knew to expect it from the other reviews. As a customer, I’d have a better opinion of the restaurant as a business if you increased prices 25%, went tipless, adjusted worker compensation, and removed the service charge.

Overall, I’d visit again and recommend others to try this restaurant.

Our first time here and the pasta is excellent. We got the cavatelli and strozzapretti and will absolutely be back. Josh took great care of us. The whole staff is laid-back and welcoming.

Start with the complaint? Seating feels a little cramped and unexceptional.

But the food was fantastic. The service great as well.

It’s going to be for special occasions for us, but can’t wait to return!

Great food. Excellent pasta. Good drinks. Great Tartare. Good service. Good ambiance. Ok vibe. Expected more “plush” for price. Booths hard. Don't need bling. Just more smiles and happy ambiance! Yes, I'd go back!

Your surcharge is a joke. Be upfront with customers. Post your actual prices. Shame on you.

W.S. smash was very disappointing. Bread service could have been better for $14. Improper timing of dishes. Odd 4% charge.

Beware Raccolto adds a 4% surcharge to the total with none of the premium going to wages. The “why” is that the money supports a livable wage. That reasoning is incomplete at best. Maybe the restaurant can share their staff’s base wage to complete the picture? Advice would be to just bake the 4% into the price to avoid confusing customers.

Great food. Great service.

Little strange that the owners charge a 4% surcharge to support “livable wages, which doesn’t the staff”. Unclear who get supported here…
