I absolutely love the food at Raccolto. Although they were very busy on New Year's Eve they still managed to provide decent service. However, after our second course was delivered we didn't see our server again until the end. I planned to order another drink but no one came back around so that was very disappointing. My primary issue is how absolutely freezing cold the restaurant is when you're seated near the door! Every time the door opens(and it opened frequently)...
This was our annual early-seating New Year Eve and Anniversary celebration for the two of us. We are blessed to have Raccolto within walking distance. The service was, and is always, extraordinary. The special New Years Eve menu was outstanding. It can be noisy, depending more on groups of 4 and how the acoustics work there. But it was all couples last night and we also had an enjoyable conversation with a couple at an adjoining table. What can I say more than this is our go-to...
The dinner was delicious and the service was lovely. My only complaint was that the dessert was not good at all. It was my friends birthday and we ordered the olive oil cake and ate 2 bites cause it was straight up gross. =(And we were charged for it which was an extra bummer.)
