We had come to Rachel’s in May and fell in love with the Blood Orange Mule. My daughter’s signature drink was a Blood Orange mule at her wedding (as a result of this trip). After many failed attempts on our part to replicate the flavor, we decided to order the Blood Orange ginger beer to use in her cocktails for her wedding. My only regret was that I didn’t order more. To say they were a hit is an understatement. They were delicious! The bar tenders kept commenting on the packaging. We refroze the ice packs and reboxed them for transport. We will definitely order again!

the person with the mask taking my order has continuously been so cold and just did not have the kind of fun energy i expected. i used to come here all the time and would always bring my friends visiting the city, but all of my favorite bartenders never seem to be here anymore?! they were so funny and sweet, good at their jobs and knew how to have fun. i dont recognize anyone who works here anymore and its just not the same. i dont see a reason to come here if the bartenders can't bring the vibe. AND they recently raised the prices.... you can definitely find better drinks with a better atmosphere in the area (old stove, rabbit box, goldfinch tavern, vons 1000 spirits).

I stopped here after eating at Pike Place Chowder. They had free samples displayed on their window sill.
ATMOSPHERE: Its an open-air bar style cafe. It wasn't busy at all. It seems maybe the biz is just starting out or something.
GINGER BEER: There were two flavors I tried, the Asian pear & strawberry rhubarb. It's slightly fizzy and a little spicy. Good but I'm not a fan. Maybe if it was chilled it would've tasted better. To each his own.

The ginger beer was excellent, the atmosphere was warm and inviting, and this place should have been an easy five stars. Unfortunately, the young blond female taking our order, I interacted with managed to sour the entire experience. Rude, dismissive, and acting as though simply taking my order was an inconvenience—exactly the kind of attitude that makes customers feel unwelcome.
It’s a shame, because everything else about Rachel’s Ginger Beer is top notch. But no matter how good the product is, customer service matters. When the first impression is someone who clearly doesn’t want to be there (and makes sure you know it), it reflects poorly on the entire establishment.
If management cares about their reputation, they might want to rethink who they have at the counter. Ginger beer this good deserves to be served with at least a hint of basic courtesy.

I came here with a friend because I saw someone with one of their drinks and it looked really good. Unfortunately, the experience was awful. When I got to the counter, I asked the cashier what kinds of drinks they had and what her personal favorites were. Instead of being helpful, she just pointed at the menu with the most negative, dismissive attitude. I get that I could’ve looked at the menu more closely, but asking an employee for a recommendation shouldn’t be met with hostility.
It didn’t stop there, when I asked if she was okay (because her energy was so off), she smirked, gave a sarcastic “yeah,” and then another employee came over with the same rude attitude and mocked me by asking if I was okay before walking away. It honestly felt like I was being bullied for no reason.
To top it off, when I finally got my drink, the lid was covered in juice, which may have been a mistake, but after that interaction it felt intentional. Overall, the service was horrific and unwelcoming. I’ve never experienced something so unprofessional, and it completely ruined what should’ve been a fun stop. I truly hope they hire friendlier staff in the future.
I go every time I’m in town. A great variety from which to choose.

Why can’t this ginger beer be on tap everywhere? The flavors are so delicious, thirst quenching, couldn’t get enough. Loved the guava the most! Service was quick and a great drink to have walking around on a warm day.

Ohmygod! Their ginger beers are next level! Absolutely delicious!! One of the server was really sweet and gave me a couple samples before I chose which one I wanted. I ended up the season blackberry lavender one. I went up to try a couple other cz I wanted to get a 32oz growler. The second server acted very passive aggressive and like she was very bothered to help me cz I had forgotten to throw my taster cups since I hadn't seen the trash bowl. After she gave me the samples she pushed the trash bowl right in front of me. Didn't exactly enjoy that experience. Thank goodness when I actually went up to buy my growler it was the first server. All the flavors I had tasted were phenomenal! Will definitely be coming back
