Nice and busy place. I have recommended this place to everyone visiting Seattle but this was the first time I have been here. I tried the mango ginger beer which was nice. My wife got the spicy pineapple which was nice as well but I liked mine better. For a weekend late evening this place was not too busy.

Refreshing ginger beer with a lot of interesting flavors! Worth a visit
Drink was ok at best - super expensive- not worth the hype
10/22/24 excellent Moscow Mule
Don't be fooled, this is just ginger flavored lemon juice.
Gave this spot more than it's fair shake, came back twice, they have very efficient service and friendly people.
I was very excited to try some craft ginger beer, oddly enough ginger beer is one of my favorite beverages and I try about every brand available, imagine my excitement when there was an establishment that specialized in ginger beer.
Ginger beer is supposed to be heavily ginger forward with a spicy burn up front from the ginger. Both times, all 4 flavors I tried tasted of lemon with additions.
I can't control other reviews, but this is an honest review from my personal experience. Next time I'm in town I'll give them another shot and ask for the most ginger flavor they have and see if it is simply lemons.

The ginger is way too strong as it overpowers any other flavor and has a burning sensation going down. Apparently some people enjoy it, but I disposed of mine after two sips.

Mule and Chowder. We had heard a tip that if you get chowder at Pike's Place you were able to eat at Rachel's if you purchased a ginger beer from them. So we enjoyed Moscow mules and chowder in a more relaxed space. Their ginger beer is amazing too. A win-win for sure. Visited 9/2024.

This should be called Rachel’s Lemonade not Rachel’s ginger beer. If you have a tendency toward heart burn due to citrus, skip this place. Lemon juice seems like the main ingredient, I could barely taste the ginger.

Cheapskates fill your cup with ice and want even more money if you ask for no ice.
So in fact what you are selling is ice + ginger beer. Why didn’t you say that on your menu?
Deceptive. I hate this sort of disrespectful behaviour.
And stating prices have gone up is not relevant. Neither is it reasonable to assume that ice is part of the price. I should get a discount for accepting ice in lieu of your pricey product.
You are being deceptive. If you want to be honest, be CLEAR and state that the full glass is never actually filled with your product and it is MANDATORY to take ice as well. You did not actually mention "Ice + Ginger Beer" on the menu, so forcing people to take ice is theft.

Got the caramelized pineapple ginger beer, that was pretty good! The strawberry rum punch was way too strong for us lol

Wow. The ginger beer has a kick, and it feels like ginger, not capsaicin. I had it as a float, and the ice cream was a notch up, too.
The pike market is worth visiting all by itself.
Vegetarian options: There's a vegan pineapple whip that sounds like a lovely swap for the ice cream.
