The ginger beer here is always great and you can sample the flavors before you order.
The prices are the menu are set so that you don't really save any money by ordering a larger size, so order the size you think you can finish.
As of October 2025 there is also a food option on the right side of the store that is selling fried chicken.
There really shouldn't be a tipping option as you are ordering at the counter.

Cant go to Seattle without my favorite drink! University Village is my favorite location, because the best shopping in Seattle. I love the caramelized pineapple gingerbread! Love love love. I either mix it with white peach or guava!

This review is based on the ginger beer only. I did NOT try any food. That being said, I was extremely underwhelmed with the ginger beer.
I was excited to try it and made this my first stop after a 4 1/2 hour flight. I taste tested the Original, Pineapple, Mango and Spicy Pineapple ginger beers. My jaws locked at first taste as if I just ate a lemon or lime, not pleasant. I did still support the business, but I am not likely to go back, at least not the ginger beer. The customer service was friendly and accommodating. Out of 5, I would give the ginger beer a .05. They may taste more fitting in their mojitos or margaritas, but is not a good GB.

Best crunchy spicy chicken I had, I love that they have only drumsticks, and the order is huge. The cucumber poke was so refreshing and the pickled radish that comes with the order is so fresh and crunchy. The chicken sandwich was on the smaller side for me so I will definitely stick to the drumsticks. Miduem spicy is just right and I like spicy.

Great stop for refreshing drinks. A good selection of various ginger beers and other treats made with ginger beers. There’s several regular flavors on tap and some rotating seasonal ones. They’ve all been good in my experience. My favorite regular flavor is blueberry and I’ll often pick up a growler to take home. These are tart ginger beers so don’t expect it to taste like a soda. They still make for a tasty drink, especially when you get into the expanded options. They have some alcoholic drinks and soft serve ice cream available to make floats. The floats are my favorite thing to get. The ice cream goes great with all the flavors I’ve tried so far. This location shares the space with Ma’Ono Fried Chicken. It’s a separate business but gives you a good option to get food along with drinks. Staff has always been quick and friendly. A great place to get a quick drink or settle in for a bite.

Wow! I didn’t know I needed a store/restaurant solely focused on ginger beer until I stumbled in here. I’ve been to multiple locations now and there is a consistent quality among each one - greatness!
I enjoy ginger beer and liked trying new flavors. I’ve had a ginger beer float, alcoholic ginger beer cocktail and purchased a growler of ginger beer to take home. The growlers are so cute and you get a discount if you bring it back to get a refill. I will continue to come back here. I definitely recommend.
It’s especially fun to visit when there are people in the group that don’t drink alcohol but still want a cute and flavorful mocktail!
