Staff can be a bit brain-dead but the drinks and atmosphere is fantastic and cozy.

Seating is a little bit tight, especially when busy, but I think that's to be expected! Great place to grab a coffee while on a walk through Ballard. Very friendly staff and a dog friendly space.

What an amazing gem tucked away in a cute courtyard. We ventured over to grab breakfast & coffee and we were pleasantly surprised that not only was the coffee delicious, but the food was very good!We ordered the pork belly hash with winter root vegetables. It had a kimchi-sriracha sauce, so it was spicier than I can handle but tastes amazing. The hash was beets, carrots & parsnips from what I could tell. The bacon, egg & cheese sandwich was huge but really delicious. The ricotta & lemon toast tasted good, but it is a bit too much bread (Texas toast) and honestly needs a bit of blackberry jam.We ordered oatmilk lattes as our go-to when trying new coffee places. One had vanilla syrup and was perfectly sweet, while the plain one needed some sugar to balance the bite. But the roast was a great flavor that would be good in any coffee you order.Parking: We got lucky finding a street spot right out front. There are bike racks if you ride over. But parking might be an issue since it's in a residential neighborhood and on a busy street.
Delicious food, coffee, and fun atmosphere :). Feels like a secret garden. The BLTartine was

Unpretentious spot with nice coffee in funky modern-ish surroundings. Outdoor garden seating as well. Small. Dog friendly.

Great spot. I've been going for 4 years and it only gets better. Though also pricier as well. Bring $$ or a good credit card with you. It will cost you but it's a fabulous place to spend time and some $. Well worth the cost!

I can’t judge the food as I just came for a coffee break but the staff was super friendly and the location is really cool. A little green backyard oasis very popular with people working on their laptops… ? Definitely come check it out! ?
