What more could you want in a dive bar? Friendly enough staff, music, chill vibe, TVs, quality drink options and food...Add in a pool table and a huge fire place and this place is next level. A welcome sight in the area as everything else seems pretty posh.
Has to be one of my favorite bars in seattle. Cheap cold beer. Great food. Also cheap. Watch the kraken here and there could be 10 people in the bar, but it feels like it’s packed. Absolute money ?
Exploring Madison Park in winter, as tourists, led us to The Red Onion.Immediately warm, the fireplace opened a dim space from another era. It would not be surprising to see Janice or Grace sitting at one of the low tables, a draft in one hand, enjoying a delicious, unrivaled combo pizza while reveling with good, down to earth friends and staff.Regular people, good food, really fair prices and an eclectic atmosphere.Do not miss this place.
