Red Star has great tacos! I tried the carnitas and the philly cheesesteak tacos. Both were great, but carnitas the clear winner with tender juicy meat and a zesty, savory flavor. Tasty chips and salsa.

Hands-down the absolute BEST tacos I've ever tried in my entire lifetime! And the drinks are fabulous too. Absolute perfection in every way & can't wait to come back again.

Red Star Taco Bar is where Fremont goes when it wants to eat like it just won the lottery but still only paid happy hour prices. The menu reads like a dare—Sriracha Honey Tofu, Bang Bang Cauliflower, Philly Cheesesteak, Fried Chicken, and the infamous “Mom’s” and “Dad’s” tacos—so naturally we ordered them all. Drinks? A roasted pineapple margarita, watermelon slushie, and a mocktail cheekily named Until Proven Guilty. It’s chaos, it’s indulgent, it’s exactly Fremont.

The food, server, and atmosphere was awesome. The only thing I would add, is for a work event it was hard to hear each other over the music, and you have to make sure everyone in your party has their ID. Thankfully everyone in our group did. The server was super awesome and turned down the music for us to do our brief awards. Will go again.

Writing this review from my bed as the food got me sick. Typically I have a good stomach and only get like this if I drink the water in Mexico. Wasn’t expecting that from a carnitas, tofu and ground beef taco.
Food was tasty but I won’t be returning here. Not worth the pain.

This is a cool spot. Chill atmosphere, the service was excellent, the food was great. The gentleman that served us had good recommendations for food as well as beverages and what paired well together. Good times. We'll be back.

Quirky variety of tasty tacos. They aren't going for pure authenticity, but fusion tacos, and they deliver. They also have nice drinks.
Not sure how the night scene is, as I've only been there at lunch and happy hour.

Honestly I go because the margaritas are soooo good. BUT, every time I go there is a service problem. Somehow they always mess up my drink order or they totally forget about my drinks and it’s always been a problem. Also forgot my food once. Things like this are very annoying but the drinks are good so I come back. Overall the workers are nice and they did compensate for the missed drinks or long wait.

We've been stopping into Redstar for almost a decade and have never been let down. Over the years they've increased the range of options that they offer and have managed to not only keep things consistent, but consistently out do themselves.
We recently stopped in for some dinner after drinks and had some of the most incredible queso dip that we've encountered.
We also ordered some happy hour tacos and a burrito 🌯 which we were unable to finish and got to enjoy at home as leftovers 😁
It's Great spot to meet friends or to bring a date. Make sure to check out the patio at least once. It's a great spot for summer sips.
