The waitress tonight was so rude… anytime I asked about a drink she just turned the menu pages and pointed at it, like slamming the menu on the table in front of me…..
What’s the point of a waitress if she’s going to point at pages in a menu? I thought they were supposed to offer consultation when asked for it…..
And then the place enforced an automating 20% tip. I think the waitress would’ve been more professional if she didn’t know she was getting an automatic 20% tip.
I’m never coming back here, don’t go here unless you want to pay automatic gratuity to have a waitress be condescending to you….
I love the happy hour taco deals and the house sangria is very tasty!
I am shocked at how good these tacos are! And so cheap on taco Tuesday. One of my favorite taco places.
Loved the sheer amount of choices for tacos, lots of diversity of ingredients. All of the ones we got were extremely good.
Love to come here on Margarita Mondays. None of my fav tacos are on the happy hour, so I normally just order the tacos a la carte!
Slow start. Then picked up a bit. Margaritas were well worth a go. The Macho Nacho had an obvious hole, no guacamole!!! Is this a tariff related thing?
Try the black and sweet potato taco as this was by far the best, sweet but most excellent. Thank you Bill and Ted for such wise words.
To quote the Arctic Monkeys “4 stars out of 5”, and that’s a fair reflection of musica, food, place, drinks and wait staff.
Casual restaurant and bar with a great happy hour, and reasonable prices all the time. It has an outdoor patio, and a visit there can be combined with a lovely walk along the canal in Fremont, a bike ride along the Burke Gilman trail, or a visit to Gas Works Park.
Carl was amazing!! go see him in Tacoma!
Staff is incredibly kind and provided phenomenal service, and the way they've been able to transform the space is just incredible (they're right next door to their sister restaurant, Sweet Bay Cafe which also had a killer transformation). Everything tasted amazing, and we were stoked to see so many vegetarian and gluten-free options on the menu that tasted delicious. All to say, 10/10 experience and this is easily somewhere we'll come back to again. Menu Faves: 🍴 Blackberry-Jalapeño Margarita 🍴 Queso + Chips + Guacamole 🍴 Skillet Baked-Potato Taco 🍴 Korean BBQ Taco 🍴 Shrimp + Elote Taco 🍴 Breakfast Taco 🍴 Carnitas Taco 🍴 Sweet Potato + Black Bean Taco 🍴 Sriracha Honey Tofu Taco 🍴 Fall Harvest Taco
This review is to bring attention to the establishment for betterment. As an industry professional with 2o years in the business I noticed a few things that should be find tuned. It all revolves around service. Last nights service was slow and disconnected. There was a cool kid hang at the end of the bar where the servers and staff congregate in between tasks. While we waited for service I could clearly see the staffs main objective was not to give great service or connect to the guests. The flow was off. Leadership was not there to set the tone that the food clearly needs. The food was fantastic, the service was unfortunate. The vibe was unattentive unimpressed hipsters. If this changed the bar would be 100 percent. Service makes customers come back, make a scene that gives customers an exceptional experience. Instead of being dismissive.

Food is good, but some staff could definitely be better people, they take away from the nice ones and ruin the atmosphere

Overpriced drinks in a chic part of town. Add $2 - $5 on everything just for the location. As far as food goes, it's average. I was very disappointed in the margaritas. $14 for a margarita in a 6 or 8 oz. glass overflowing with ice. You're lucky if you get 5 sips. No complaints about the service or wait staff. They were the best part of the night. I just can't recommend this place. First and last visit.

Great spot for a snack, dinner or after-work happy hour. Classic or creative taco options for mom and pop or pop-stars looking to impress with their delish Insta pix. Korean BBQ Beef,Bacon Cheeseburger, and Buffalo Chicken tacos were inspired and will keep me coming back for more. The mocktail that riffed on Pina Colada is a most refreshing treat. Server was very accommodating and thoughtful. Gluten or dairy free and vegetarian requirements easily accommodated. Free street parking available within a block or three in a neighborhood that is very walkable, with delightful boutiques and street art, and feels safe day or night. Ask about spice levels as there are a few surprises (refried beans were muy caliente) with heat levels not marked on menu.
Vegetarian options: Small menu but clear options curated for vegetarians - honey sriracha tofu taco, yes please
Dietary restrictions: Very accommodating for and menu clearly marked - almost entire menu gluten free
Parking: You will find free street parking but might have to circle the block once or twice
Kid-friendliness: It has a bar vibe so call to be sure they are welcome.
