I’ve always really enjoyed my time at rheinhaus. The security are always cordial and welcoming. Bartenders are always accepting of everyone. I genuinely had the worst bartender experience of my life here.
I said nor did anything to this blonde curly haired lady on August 3rd Saturday night. She genuinely would not serve me personally for reasons unbeknownst to me.
If I was reading this I’d think “oh yea another drunk belligerent man taking no accountability for his actions” This was not the case at all.
I’ve never had that happen in my life anywhere I went. I’ll give my description solely as a forewarning for individuals with common characteristics to avoid the blond curly haired bartender.

Just keep moving forward there are some people willing to spread their negative energy for fun.

Pls I beg that you guys fire the buzz cut tattooed bar tender. Probably the cringiest person I've ever seen work a bar, only takes girls orders and tries to impress and flirt while chewing a toothpick. Takes like 1 order every couple minutes and ignores everyone besides girls and flirts and gives free drinks to them to spit game😭 Seriously get that guy out of there he makes the business look terrible.

Enjoyed fantastic service and food with my family of four after a long hot day of exploring Seattle. Beer was cold, giant pretzel delivered, and the waiter even offered a free beer! Recommendations: giant pretzel and beer cheese.

We arrived around 3:00 pm on a Monday and the restaurant was not busy at all so didn't have its usual charm. Our waiter further ruined our time: he had absolutely no rapport (didn't even try), spoke with a monotone and was not the least bit engaging. Perhaps a D rating overall. This is not the type of experience we wanted to have. Everyone enjoyed the food and beer, but I've told several friends about the overall dining experience was subpar due to the poor waitstaff. Made me very sad because was supposed to be a celebratory event.

I took my boyfriend here as a last-minute birthday dinner. I expected it would be a bar atmosphere and figured I could expect decent sausages and a fine beer. HOWEVER, I got so much more... The atmosphere is great, very comfortable, and the service is attentive and casual. I cannot remember my servers name, but she was the cutest curly haired darling and had the nicest smile. The food came out quickly and HOLY COW! We ordered the platter with SIX Sausages, Mashed Potatoes and Sauerkraut, plus a side of German Potato Salad. FIRST OFF .... they have NO business making mashed potatoes THAT good without a 30-foot sign outside. They were so silky and so buttery with the perfect amount of acid and salt .... MY GOD, Perfection. The Kraut and Potato salad were also incredible, but I only have 2000 characters, and we haven't gotten to the SAUSAGE!!!!!!!!! GIRL WHAT?!?!?!? Each one was better than the last. The Kielbasa is so smokey and perfectly seasoned, but the HABANERO CHEDDAR?!?!? MY GOD.... you cut into this perfectly made sausage and the juices and cheese run out onto the potato's I WANTED TO SCREAM. It was nearly a "Harry met Sally" moment.... WE are in our fifties and don't get this much excitement often, but we stayed strong and brave and powered on to the BRATWURST.... dare I say SILKY?!?? IS this a VELVET sausage??? Paired with the Kraut, which is tangy yes, but so much flavor and perfectly balance. Absolutely sensational.... Each bite had such incredible flavor, texture, seasoning, personality, I am guessing they play the sausages classical music and hold them in fluffy white robes and slippers for service.... these sausages tasted PRIVILEGED. Short story long.... we were both SO impressed. The food was way beyond our expectations; we took plenty home. All of our friends are so tired of hearing about it, and we have made plans to bring them in to prove, what we already know... Rhein House is the Palace of Sausage, and MASHED POTATO MY GOD.... Protect this Chef!!

I had the very tasty rosemary fried chicken and a few beers. These were on special on Tuesdays. The chicken is hot and crispy, clearly hot out of the fryer. The atmosphere is very fun and cozy. I would love to visit for one of the roast pig nights!
Always make at least one stop here when I'm visiting. I recommend the rosemary fried chicken, and if you like kava, order the blitzkrieg pop!!

The food and atmosphere were great but the service wasn't. I'm not sure if they had an event going on, but it took them 15 minutes to come get our order for both food and drinks. They seemed disgruntled by where we sat, even though we were told to sit anywhere. We were confused and thinking maybe we had misunderstood, but saw other couples and groups come in and have the same thing happen.
