The food was unappetizing and poorly prepared. The scallop appetizer had a strong metallic taste and the scallops were rough and chewy, wrapped in gummy bacon and served on toast too hard to cut with a steak knife. The baked potato was barely warm enough to melt butter. The steak butter was overpowered by the vast quantities of garlic in it, making the steak into merely an unpleasant garlic delivery system. I was utterly ignored for more than five minutes after arriving, and once I was noticed three people in sequence asked me if they could help me but then went off in three different directions looking for someone who could seat me. I should have left then. The wait staff was lovely; however, if I read the note on the menu correctly, the 20% gratuity automatically applied to the bill does not go to the wait staff but straight into the corporate coffers.
Over all great. Really like the ambiance. Had a nice welcome Didn't love we were there for Seattle restaurant week it was never mentioned we had to ask for a menu wait person questioned if it was even still running. Then were given one menu for the 2 of us. Just didn't sit well. Pace was too slow although we mentioned and talked over we had plans to see a show. Left asking for the bill and rushing a little when tables around us got food seated after us. Everyone was friendly. Could be better on things like refills of water and tea - I find if we don't order alcohol we are not attended to as often Oh well Lastly I had some dietary restrictions since I have to have surgery next week don't feel like they were cared for at all I was very disappointed with the attitude I already knew the menu and ate there because I knew I could make it work and did not ask for substitutions
We ordered some add ons to the restaurant week menu and we're very disappointed. The dungeness crab legs tasted off and smelled very fishy. The ahi appetizer was okay but absolutely drowning in ponzu. The crispy artichoke appetizer was mushy inside and the menu gives the impression you will not be getting jarred artichoke hearts. The ambience was incredibly awkward. When We arrived on a Seattle restaurant week Saturday night, we were the only patrons in the restaurant. When we left an hour later, only two other tables were filled. When validating parking, you have to scan your ticket on your phone, then scan a QR code from the hostess, then enter your credit card on your phone, then scan your paper rocket at the exit. Whew.
We made our reservation for 4pm and were the first to be seated. It was not crowded so we had attention that made us feel like family. We had a Caesar salad and seared ahi tuna for starters. The wasabi on the ahi was superb. Main meals were the ribeye and lamb chops. The beef cut was very generous. The drenched lamb chops were beautifully prepared and perfectly cooked medium. We were surprised with a rhubarb sorbet for dessert as we were celebrating the start of retirement. Thanks for the meal! Gabriel (Chauvon?) was a very attentive wait staff that was so friendly and good at her job.
I recently dined at Daniel's Broiler during Seattle Restaurant Week and had an excellent experience. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, showcasing the kitchen's skill. Service was outstanding, attentive without being intrusive, and the overall restaurant atmosphere was calm and quiet, making for a relaxing evening. The wine and spirits selection was impressive, providing great options to pair with our meal. The only minor downside was the mashed potatoes, which lacked flavor compared to the rest of the dishes. Overall, Daniel's Broiler delivered a top-notch dining experience well worth a visit.
Great downtown location. Excellent service, food and ambiance. Mike, our server, was fantastic !! We went twice during the week were there....
The service, the atmosphere, and the food made this visit to Daniel's exceptional! From the moment we walked in the door, we were made to feel important and valued. Each dish and drink was delicious and added to the great evening we had with our guests. Not only will I recommend this restaurant to family and friends in the area, but I am looking forward to visiting again the next time I am in town.
We had dinner reservations at 6:30. Arrived a little early and was seated. Our server was Mike who was great server. Everyone that ordered steaks were pleased. Very tender. Chicken and garlic potatoes were great as well as baked potatoes. Service was impeccable! Highly recommend! Too full did eat desserts!
Staff was fun, friendly, and made it a great experience. Price does seem to exceed the overall value.
Restaurant was located inside the hotel (Hyatt Regency Seattle) and convenient. It is not affiliated with the hotel. There was no happy hour at this particular location. The service charge was expected (we read the reviews of others) but still a negative as it appears to be a “gouge” to its patrons and unnecessary expense for its diners. Again, we dined there for the proximity to the hotel which we were guests but there are numerous restaurants (within 5-10 minute walking distance from hotel) that we dined on previous days with more superior food offerings, finer service, greater value and much more memorative experience.

Restaurant was clean and staff was very friendly. Food was average with high price. Not worth the money for taste of food.
We had the best dining experience ever. The food was amazing but even better everyone who helped us was awesome. They made our family celebration very special.
I was not impressed with my meal. The staff went out of their way to make things right and that is what I was impressed about.
Everything was excellent and the service was amazing!!!!! Our server gave us fantastic recommendations.
Our dinner at Daniel's Broiler was exceptional which you would expect because of the price point. My husband had fillet mignon which came with perfectly cooked large asparagus and baked potato. The fillet was done to his request and was very easy to eat. Perfect! I had lamb chops which were delicious. Just as good as lamb in England. For dessert my husband had the cookie and ice cream which was a great end to a great meal.
