Pretty much everything this place has is spicy, and I can't eat spicy food. I was not expecting that at an Italian type restaurant. I wound up ordering pizza. It would have been a lot better if it didn't have so much charring. Our waiter was fantastic though. He did his best to help me find something that wasn't spicy, was very friendly, and knew the menu up and down. The bartender was super friendly and accommodating as well.
Dietary restrictions: Almost everything is spicy
Kid-friendliness: I wouldn't recommend this place for kids

It was a special occasion and our servers made it extra special which was greatly appreciated. The appetizers of burrata, fried artichokes and bruschetta were exceptional. We (6) had various pasta dishes which were excellent. Our granddaughter loved the potato pizza. We all enjoyed the tiramisu. Ambiance intimate. Highly recommend.

Avoid this restaurant. Not only are you forced to pay a 22% tip,
the food is mediocre at best. The dishes arrived late and at times we had to watch our fellow diners eat when our entrees were nowhere to be seen.To compensate for this we were brought whatever they could spare in the kitchen at the time.
TIP means To Insure Prompt service. It is an extra amount the customer can add for Prompt Service. Demanding it at the outset is arrogant and absurd. No wonder so many restaurants shut down so frequently. I hope they learn they shouldn’t consider the diners as captives.

We came here with 6 people for Seattle restaurant week. $50 per person. The total bill was $403 without drinks.
The food was very mediocre. The carbonara was bad - lacking flavor, inappropriately soupy. They gave a new dish but it took too long to arrive.
For ESR, How to Cook a Wolf is much better. But would not recommend this restaurant.

Bucatini was AMAZING 😋😋😋 Highly recommend and will be back for more. Roasted cauliflower was ok, I didn’t really like the taste. My friend said that it needed to be cooked more. Wines and cocktails were great, and our server was super nice. Overall, great vibe, will be back for more bucatini. 😁 🫶🏽

We had a great time at the "all night" happy hour last night, Tuesday. We sat at the bar and enjoyed good vibes with the bartender, delicious Old Fashions and wine, the best focaccia (!), salad, and two pasta dishes. Priced fair in this expensive food city. Check it out!
Parking: Look around for street parking, which isn't too bad in this area.

Great spot for family style modern Italian. Somewhat limited menu but options for everyone (slightly limited for vegetarians).
Service is good for smaller tables but less so for large parties.
Tiramisu is a touch too modern.
Well worth a visit!

The food was good, nice cocktail menu selection. One of our waiters was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. We appreciated her recommendations. Nice little patio, quiet little restaurant. The fried gnocci was a standout.

This was one of the best dining experiences I have ever had. Service was impeccable. The bartender was superb. The food was fabulous. The Maître d' continued to be involved in our service after we were seated. We had a great time. No regrets.

It was our first time at Rione XIII and we can’t wait to come back! The staff was welcoming, friendly and went the extra mile to make my birthday dinner special. My husband and I love the Trastevere neighborhood and were so excited to try this food. It absolutely did not disappoint! Make sure you order the focaccia, fried artichokes and cacio e pepe. Everything was phenomenal and we’re already looking into flights back to Seattle just to have Rione XIII again!

22% service fee is a large turn off. I frequently tip that amount but the assumption is grotesque and the prices are too high to have both.
