Great HH nachos, wings, $5 margs
Everything on the menu is good. Friendly staff and fun atmosphere.
Steak nachos and margaritas are my go to, but the wings, vegan tacos, and bean dip all get an honorable mention.
Great HH everyday and free pool, basketball, corn hole, and board games to pass the time along with TVs.

EASILY one of the best bars in Ballard — a tucked away gem.
Everything from the cocktail menu to the decor has a thoughtful touch of personality without feeling try-hard. It has a relaxed, fun and unpretentious vibe.
The staff is ridiculously cool, the music is always on point, and the atmosphere hits right all times of day. It’s all in the details!

I walked by, best freespun live set heard in many years, didn't want to leave.
Roam is the best spot in Ballard. I frequent here and it’s always a friendly environment with great music and vibes. Every day of the week they have something fun going on. Free pool and pop a shot! C’mon. Check it out!

I was lucky to stumble upon Roam through a networking event. Let me just say how blown away I was with the feel of this location. The drinks are carefully thought of along with a very represented food menu! They have plenty of room and and upstairs that is great for big groups to enjoy.

Went here with a group of friends, ordered fries and they were out, that’s fine, asked for chips and guac and they were out that’s fine, ordered chips and queso which was a good compromise and was cool with. They brought me chips and salsa and I let them know it wasn’t queso, I told the server hey we ordered chips and queso and the guy says “it’s a new recipe we came up with it’s a salsa and queso mix.” I said ok and tried it, giving it a shot. First bite I knew the man was lying and it was weird, just tell me it’s salsa or that you’re out of queso. I stopped him and said again it’s not queso, he seriously says “ yes it is it’s a limited time recipe we just developed” and walks away. Overall I was pissed I spent $10 on that plus tip and just got treated like an idiot and was gaslit into this being “queso”. It’s not, it’s salsa and I ordered queso, not salsa and some bs line about it being otherwise. Shitty service and treatment, that server sucks. Don’t recommend.

Roam in Ballard has a fantastic atmosphere! I visited during Seafood Fest on a Sunday around 1 PM and was surprised it wasn't more crowded, especially since they offer so many free bar games. The place itself is really unique; it looks like a firehouse that's been converted into a bar.
Finally a Seattle bar with an actually good happy hour!! This space is cute, the food and drinks are good, it’s absolutely worth checking out. We had the Hugo spritz and marg and both were solid, we also tried the chicken and steak nachos and they were huge and loaded with toppings. The refried beans and pickled onions were an especially nice touch. We’ll be back!
