Went to ROCCO'S. First of alll, this place is super duper fancy when it comes to pizza ?. Ordered the meat and veggie slice and they were super duper delicious! The atmosphere was very pleasant! And full of flavors! Also, outstanding customer service!!! Highly recommended!!! Love love love it ?!!

I'm absolutely flummoxed by my interaction at this place (10/9/2024 @ 6:20pm).
It, of course, has to do with the "pizza bouncer."
I will begin by saying that everyone was nice. No one treated me like shit to my face, but something is strikingly off with whatever policy this place abides by.
I walked in off the street to buy a slice or two "to-go."
I wasn't let in immediately (ok, I guess. bouncer guy is still polite about the situation). It's in a part of downtown where people pass by, and I understand having a screening process to keep out the riffraff.
When I was "admitted" in, I was told to go immediately to the hostess station. OK, I can follow rules, can I now order my food? Sure. I'm told "it is expensive". I agree, this pizza is expensive, but I'm also a tourist, tired, and hungry. You have no idea how much I'm willing to pay, and I am already there. I ordered.
I'm not even complaining about the price. Instead of ordering 2 slices, I ordered a half pizza because the slices didn't have the toppings I preferred.
I put in my order, pay, 20% tip added for takeout. I'm at $54 and some change on a half pizza. You never would have heard a peep from me had I not experienced the following.
After paying, I'm shunted outside to wait for my order. Not to sit on the patio, because that was, of course "closed". Instead, I'm invited to "lean" against the building if I'd like. The pizza will be about 20 minutes.
I'll reiterate that the staff I interacted with were all polite, but holy hell, if they aren't adhering to some really weird policies on how to treat a paying customer.
The food was OK, 3 of 5 stars. Service and atmosphere are 0 stars because 1, I didn't experience said "atmosphere", and service was kind of non-existent outside of someone taking an order and just having a human to human interaction.

Rocco’s has a pretty exciting pizza menu but the pizza was just alright! Not amazing, not terrible. The crust was a bit too hard for my taste and it felt a bit overpriced. Service was pretty great! We had a bigger table and they kept the drinks flowing and the food came quickly. Honestly the highlight was the focaccia and pickled vegetables. I’ll probably be back for happy hour and will try another pizza. Maybe it’s better the second time :)

Great atmosphere, we were seated at the bar rather quickly even though we didn’t have any reservations. Enjoyed a couple of house special cocktails and had some slices of gorgeous pulled pork and pepperoni pizzas since we wouldn’t have been able to finish a complete one (they are huge!).
Crowded but not a stuffy place at all, great decor and vibe to hang out. A must place to visit.

Truthfully, it was pretty unassuming from the outside. I did not expect it to be a modern looking speakeasy! The bar was beautiful! You can order a whole pie or pizza by the slice. We ordered the veggie and the meat slice. Both were very good and the veggie with the red pepper on it was perfection! The drinks were pretty standard. The alcohol list was insane! It was like looking at an alcohol dictionary! Service was fine, vibe was a little off, but nothing rude or upsetting. Definitely a good spot for a slice and surprising atmosphere!

The Banh Mi pizza was my favorite! The pizzas are costly but filling. Two slices filled me up. We had a reservation for a large group but we miss counted by a few. They still accommodated us well!

I took the time to explain to the waiter before we sat down with our large party that it was my birthday and i asked him before the rest of my party got there would he be able to split into 5 checks if not i understand he said that should be no problem. The waiter did not check on our table not even one time , he forgot to put me and my husbands order in , he made a big deal about the checks even though i asked him way before my party even got there. A woman not sure if she was in management had to come upstairs to make things right. Which I'm very grateful and why i gave this place 3 stars. Ambiance was great , my meatballs were the most delicious I've ever tasted. Pizza was 3/5 for me. Would go back in a smaller party just to have meatballs and hopefully a different experience.
Decent Pizza. Tried Veggie and Cheese slices. Amazing ambience. Really impressed by the theme of the place. Fast and quick service.

The pizza is okay, but the stuffed cheesy bread was amazing. Unbeliveably cheesy. We ordered two whole pies and it took about an hour and 15 minutes to come out rather than the 25 minutes we were told.
