The service is always good, but the prices have increased significantly, and the food quality has taken a dip. The menu is soooo limited, that it all should be great. It was not. Drinks were great.
A wonderful experience. Great drinks and food. We went on a low key night and had excellent service.
Great gin sours, and enjoyed a couple of the cocktails of the week. The hushpuppies as appetizers were not cooked all the way through, so they were a little doughey inside still. My wife and I ordered different meals, which arrived about 20+ minutes different from each other, so we had to share them so one didn't have cold food. The location was a nice walk to McCaw Hall and Climate Pledge. That said, both were prepared well, and tasted great. Only 1 cook affected their ability to serve timely. Staff were all very polite and engaging.
Service was great and fast! Cocktails were delicious and the bartender even whipped up a custom cocktail on the spot tailored to my friends tastes! The food was also phenomenal - the pork belly was juicy, crispy, surprisingly meaty, and a large portion.
In order to turn around food for so many seats sat around the same time, the one person kitchen had the heat pretty high. Onions, hush puppies, anything was just a little too cooked or charred. Maybe an off night because when we were here the past fall, it was wonderful!
Great bar dining experience. Bartenders/ waiters were excellent. Drinks and food were delicious.
Decent place but a little too snootie for me. Food was OK but very different and not what I expected.
Rochambeau is an interesting place. It is quite small and all dining is done at the 20-seat bar (there are a few standing tables for those ordering beverages only). All seats were full when I was there, there was one person cooking and two dealing with everything else. This is made possible by a limited menu (2 sides, 3 entrees) and a wine list with 1 each of red, white, and sparkling. They have a broader beer and cocktail menu. I chose Rochambeau because it is convenient to McCaw Hall. The food is good (I had beef short ribs). I would have liked a choice of wines beyond the one red on offer. The service is decent, although when they are full, it often takes a while for servers to make the rounds, and with one cook, things can back up. So allow plenty of time if you're going to a performance.
This place is a gem. It would be cool if they would add a group of small bites if you want to grab a quick drink and a small bite. Overall, the food is really great. We'll definitely be back.
Love this place. Relaxing spot to have a great meal, outstanding drinks, and quiet conversation before a Kraken game or the opera. The staff is second to none

Love this place the chef and the bartenders are always consistently friendly and the quality is very consistent! Cozy seasonal vibes!

This food-bar bistro has become one of my favorite places in Seattle. Cool art on the walls, great tunes (without being too loud) and a causal, fun vibe that's great for a pre- or post- Seattle Center event rendezvous or a casual dinner date. The gang behind the counter are always super nice and willing to chat, or to leave you to your own conversation. Highly recommended.
The lamb shanks and guinea hen were amazing! The cocktails were inventive and excellent as always.
We were very disappointed in our visit. we will not be going back
