Nice place with good seating but horrendous food. Made me feel bad afterwards too.

Edit: Dropping my review from 5 to 3. Eaten here several times, enjoyed the food. Most recent time dude brought his dog in, fed him under the table. Will never eat here again. I can't stand entitled dog owners who MUST take them everywhere. Thankfully I'm not allergic, but the restaurant obviously does not give a shit as they allow them in the first place.
Original: Haven't eaten here in a few years, but since they recently moved into a new space I decided to check it out. It's a nice upgrade, far more open and spacious interior with additional outdoor seating, just in time for the Seattle spring and summer seasons.
This visit, I got the carnitas tacos with a side of beans and the large mixed greens salad. Delicious and filling.

Loved our time at Rocket Tacos. I was here for some friends' event so we got a more set menu. But the chips, guac and salsa were soooo goood!!! And the tacos were phenomenal too. We also got some of their drinks, which were also delicious. The owner and the staff were friendly and nice! I'd definitely come back to try more of their menu.

Solid taco spot in Cap Hill! Good variety but a little pricey when there are better places close by. Great spot walkable from home and an easy place to meet up with friends and neighbors!

Tacos were dry, there is no reception (but there is wifi) but service was extremely timely and staff was friendly.

Half of the burritos we ordered was 50% tortillas and barely any meat and rice. I am used to order burritos regularly from this place. This is surely the last time I order from here.

Edible I guess:
I just had rocket taco for lunch. I ordered the tacos deluxe for 15$ putting each taco at 5$ you do get a very small serving of beans with the meal so not really much extra value.
I wanted to order a variety which you cannot do. This is the first taco place that doesn't have that option and should've been my first clue, whatever. I got the fish taco option. The fish tasted like the smell of a fish section in a chain grocery store with some ancho Chile, no salt, no acid just fish. The only other notes were cabbage and a papery tortilla which is made in house, one of the selling points of the place.
In a neighborhood that has so many great taco spots, I won't name names but it's easy to search for. You would think they'd have to edge up the competition.
Already feel queasy from the meal, I shouldn't have kept eating but I was very hungry and already paid. Cocktails might be good here, however I don't drink so will be a definite pass.
Food was really good, I felt like it was different experience of tacos, horchata is delicious as well.
Vegetarian options very good in here too

This is a good fast-casual spot in Capital Hill. The burrito was great. The tacos are a solid 4/5 stars. The decor is modern and the patio is excellent on a nice night.
PROS:
- Good food
- Variety of options
- Beer/wine/cocktails + no alcohol options
- Nice patio
- Good atmosphere
- Parking in back
CONS:
- Not a lot but you’ll need to order at the counter and grab your own cutlery, etc
- a little pricy, but everything in the area is
If you’re expecting a nice sit down dinner this isn’t it. You order at the counter and they bring you the food—if you want another drink you go back to the counter. Other reviews mentioned this as a con but if you have the right expectation going in (we did) of a fast-casual spot then it’s a great place to sit with family & friends and enjoy good food. We’ll go back!
