The fish and chips were really good, and the salmon tomato based chowder was excellent! Sat outside with heat lamps. $2 oysters for happy hour were great, but delivered without any information of the oyster variety and small paper cup of mignonette. Service was pretty good, they definitely were busy and a few things were slow. Great new option at the market!

It's hard to believe the Tom Douglas who owns Mr. Fish Chips and Chowder is the same Tom Douglas who owns Lola, The Carlile Room, among others. This room is open, casual, and fits the menu and the location. A house with "Chowder" in its name ought to have that particular dish nailed down to perfection. What was with the barbecued goldfish piled on top? Totally off-putting and ruinous. Worse, though, my chowder was curdled. What? Yes, curdled. Inedible. Oh, speaking of inedible, I do not like or eat cold French fries. And, that is what I was served. My fish was tasty, crunchy, and the tartar sauce was very good. As for that crab cake sandwich, what was with all the clear liquid that ran out of it as it was picked up to eat? I do not mean a few drops, I mean a clear liquid stream running out of the sandwich. Perhaps we would have asked for a redo on the fires, a fresh cup of chowder; however, we did not see our waiter until it was time to pay. All he said was" May I clear the table?" Not a word about the uneaten food left behind. We might have shared our issues with him if we had been asked. Instead, we silently paid and left. Speaking of this waiter, what's with the dirty clothes? Come on, guy, please, wear clean pants and shirts. This was early enough in the day that your clothes shouldn't show so much wear. And we are not pleased with a waiter who is sweating profusely over our food as he delivers it.

Excellent chowder, excellent fish and chips; the best I've had in Seattle in a long time. Service was great and food came out quickly. Will definitely be back.

Waiter entered our order incorrectly so one of us was without their meal while the others ate. Then at the end we were charged for an additional chowder that was neither ordered nor served. Food was just ok. These was maybe one flake of salmon in my copper river salmon chowder, and 10 to 1 lettuce to fish ration in my rockfish tacos.

Great experience at Mr Fish chips and chowder! The food was wonderful and the service was excellent. The location was primed for pie place and totally family friendly.

As a local I like to try out a lot of places and we're always looking for good fish and chips. I think because this mostly caters to tourists, it's ok, but not one I will return to for these. We tried the Caesar salad which was good if you like a “wet” Caesar with lots of garlicky dressing (which I do). Then we each had the f&c because it's in the name. The cod was good, but the tempura batter was doughy and greasy with not much flavor. We might return to try another fish dish, but there are so many places to get good fish that it's not likely. Sorry, Tom, but it needs work.

Super fun, casual place to grab a bite down in the market! Love the nautical decor, and friendly staff!

My family and I had a great experience at Mr. Fish! Although we loved Seatown, Mr. Fish is definitely a breath of fresh air. So cute inside, and the food was great. We had the fish and chips, crab cakes plate, and a grilled cheese for our 3 year old and we all loved our selections. The crab cakes were worth the price tag - such a generous portion of crab and so, so delicious. And my husband's fish and chips were perfectly crispy. I also highly recommend the cucumber margaritas! We'll definitely be back.

The food was great and reasonably priced, the staff was really friendly. We will definitely stop in again next time we’re in town.

The wild caught salmon burger was on my top three things I've ever eaten. One of the best places you could eat while visiting Seattle.

These people will call you a spoiled degenerate for spending too much money there, plus the place reeks of anger and moral dilemma. I guess chefs are psychopaths anyways, so who cares. They'll get you fed.

Zixiang Pan

My favorite place to get rubs
