Excellent food and service. I order the tuna melt, it is so good I would keep coming back for it if I live in the area. The root beer is just ok, not really worth the price. Also the pie is ok but still not worth the price they charge.
We stopped in for lunch after walking the Market and were glad we did. We tried the Wild Salmon Burger and the Porchetta; both were beautifully seasoned delicious and filling. Of course it was crowded and we had a bit of a wait but they got our orders out very quickly once they were placed. They sell their rub seasonings so if you like it you can take some home as well.
Beautiful oysters, the best halibut we've EVER had and THAT PIE! Coconut Cream Pie and Pecan Pie to die for!!! It is so hard to find a restaurant that you can have a pleasant conversation in these days without feeling like you have to lean in and yell at your date or strain to hear if you are on the receiving end. Not the case here. It was such a refreshing change of pace to be able to sit comfortably and have a conversation in a normal tone of voice over dinner. Thank you!!!!...
