Rubys is a gem, quite literally and metaphorically, I guess. Tucked in an unassuming part of greenwood is a dog friendly, small seating, heck of a cocktail joint. Their menu and drinks change seasonally so it’s like watching all your favorite Game of Thrones character get offed. Sad, but necessary for growth and new characters. Anyways, this place is rad. Great service, great creative cocktails each quarter, and a friendly place to hang🤙🏻

The bartender was incredibly rude and unprofessional. There are better cocktail bars in the area to visit and give your money to.
Update -
Response to owner: Based on how you respond to other reviews on people's negative experiences with you and your employees, you are immature and again, rude and unprofessional. You're not looking for information so you and your bartenders don't behave poorly again, you're looking for information so you can argue and make childish and weird insults towards people and shirk any responsibility. Also, we never showed an ID on a phone, so proving my point, you are bizarre and a joke of a business owner looking for drama and making weird, unnecessary remarks towards customers.
To others: Do not support this business and people that treat customers and the community this way.
I don’t leave reviews often, but this is one of my favorite places in Greenwood & in Seattle. Rotating menu & its items mean you’ll never know what you’re going to get, & that’s a good thing. Or just ask one of their great bartenders to whip something up. You can’t lose coming here.

I liked the vibe at the start, its quaint but it did fill up. I ordered 2 drinks and my friend had 3 and we spent over $70 here. One of the bartenders kept pressuring me to order a drink when I wasn’t sure what to get. I ran to the store across the street to get a snack while my friend continued to purchase another drink and when I got back the other bartender laughed that I brought poptarts and handed us plates. A few minutes later the first bartender who kept pressuring me to hurry up and decide got all serious and told me that I’m not allowed to bring outside food, like the cheapest thing on the menu was an $8 pretzel. Thats a ridiculous price and needed something to eat. Overall I don’t think me or my friend will be back.
We actually really liked this place and spent over $70 here. The appetizers were super pricey for what they were, so my friend started eating a box of pop tarts. One of the bartenders actually came over and handed us plates! I then ordered another drink and another bartender came over and told us we were not allowed to be eating any outside food and “to remember for next time.”I just thought it was a pretty bold thing to say to people who had been enjoying their time and purchasing multiple drinks over the span of the night. Like… its a pop tart… really? I won’t be returning due to this. Im sure theres more laidback bars in the area!
Great little neighborhood bar, love the decor of framed photos of patrons' dogs (and cats in dog costumes).
Friendly bar staff, great drinks!

Delicious cocktails! Plus, they have a happy hour that they don't really advertise? Pretty tasty old fashioned and gin martini. Plus they have cute dogs on the wall! What's not to love?

Very cool bar near Greenwood with delicious drinks. The bartenders are absolutely amazing and keep the vibes up in the already neat atmosphere. They went above and beyond to make each drink special. Comfy seats, clean bathroom, and various snack options. It is a small venue so better for groups of 4 or less.
