So much to choose from in such a small bit of space. This Seattle staple shines with speciality and favors incredible cocktails, and provides history and insight with their spirits. However, perhaps since opening inside passage, this space lacks and inviting atmosphere from the staff. The host seems new all the time and the wait staff only seems invested in ringing things in, not making you feel like you should return

TLDR: Good presentation, drinks which are nothing but spiked sugar syrup, rude staff.

We recently visited this place and had a terrible experience. When we arrived, they placed us in their main room as the indoor was full. Not an issue, we ordered our initial drinks and were moved to indoor after 1 hr. Apparently we were seated indoor without any mention of their imminent closing time. The staff took our order but, within minutes, started rushing us to finish.

The real shocker came when the waiter abruptly snatched our drinks away mid-sip, claiming they were closing. We were hardly seated for a few minutes before being ushered out. This was not only unprofessional but also extremely rude. If the staff knew they were closing soon, they should have informed us beforehand instead of letting us order.

This kind of behavior reflects a shady and disrespectful approach to customer service. We won’t be returning and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Respect your customers’ time and money, or at least set clear expectations.

Server was extremely rude and snatched our drinks away after complaining it was midnight. There was no heads up that we had to finish our drinks within a set period when we ordered them close to 11.30. Drinks are also not very good, just presented in interesting looking cups.

A lot of my recent reviews have been negative. I'm posting this after my birthday outing. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The bar has something for regulars to participate in, which is super interesting. If you enjoy Rum then this is the bar for you! This is my Piña Colada in the photo.

Excellent. Such a good variety of both food and drink. Watch out, though, there's only two copies of a paper menu, ... otherwise, you have to look at a tiny (one page at a time) online menu...

Drinks and food were so delicious. Portions are on the smaller side. The environment was so cool. Good options on the menu for vegetarians too.

An amazing place to go for dinner and a cocktail, with the best service out there. Cannot say enough about how great the manager and bartenders are.

If you like Rum you’ll love this place! Cozy and swanky rum spot. Not many drinks outside of rum options. Good bar food options too

Go see Alexa , she is lovely and attentive.

Ended up here on an impromptu meet-up after work.

Someone from outta town helped me drop in to Seattle places. I love when you can discover your city through others that don't even live here!!

Treated to the RUM 101 flight, and for a person who is not even a rum, then it was delicious

Since he treated me to a drink, I needed a couple of bites to eat. I ended up getting the brisket Taco it wasn't my favorite. The brisket was a bit much in my mouth, but the chicken Empanada was life with their chimichurri sauce.

I will definitely be back to try the other two empanadas. I want to say they had beef and a mushroom kale one . The chimichurri does not come with it, but again, I will definitely be asking for a side of it

And if I'm feeling froggy, the next taco I'll get will be there asada

We were also informed there's a cool little door on the side with Tiki style type cocktails that might have to go over and get one of those too

Oh my goodness, I can't remember baby girl name at the front door, but she was a beautiful Spanish girl who said PERIOD a lot, but she was so hilarious AND kind!!!

Go get your RUMBA on with a fun staff

One of my favorite cocktail bars in all of Seattle. The swizzle sticks are my go-to. Bartenders are very friendly as well. The empanadas are also really tasty.
