This place is a gem. Not super busy (yet) Fried chicken is absolutely delicious, Especially with the jerk chicken spices. My wife really liked the Mac salad here, and she is very picky. Will definitely return again soon. They also ferment their own cocktail mixes. We had the Gin-gin and it was really good.
The gentleman who welcomed us and made menu recommendations was a great welcome, he gave us great recommendations. Food was hot and fresh. The boneless chicken was by far the best with the spicy honey - it was absolutely delicious.
All of the chicken was excellent but the boneless was the best in my opinion :)
Wonderful and friendly staff. Made me a cocktail with peach off menu and gave me sambal sauce that didn't originally come with my burger. Bread pudding is caramelized to perfection with rotating flavours.

Great food, great cocktails, super friendly staff & owner, and they ferment their own cocktail mixers! Generally a fantastic bar/restaurant. Every time I am in the area I make it a point to go. Try their gumbo!!

Hands down some of the best hush puppies I’ve ever had. Not dry and tastless like so many others but soft and chewy with a terrific orange zest and honey glaze. Fantastic. Gumbo was also very good as were the nice selection of beers. Also happy hour pricing.

I had the fried Chicken, 7 of 10, and the cornmeal waffle, seven of 10. Both were good but lacking flavor. Just a bit bland for me.
