I love this neighborhood safeway, been going here for 25+ years! My curly haired checker Fiona walked me through how to use the app and explained to me how to use my digital coupons. Always so helpful. Crossing my fingers I can remember how to do it on my own. -Bonnie

Store looks nice but they force you to use a huge cart or carry everything in your arms after 8PM! They put away the baskets at 8pm. It’s not even dark out yet. They also only have self checkout at this time.
This is all ridiculous and makes the customer feel completely uncared for. Not to mention how frustrating for anyone who has difficulty reaching into those deep carts or who would benefit from assistance with checkout and bagging.
I won’t be back here until/unless they change their policies. I recommend QFC for a better evening experience!
Giving two stars instead of one because it looks clean inside and there’s a decent parking lot. I guess it’s good for people who shop in the daytime.

I would like to give a shout-out to both the management and bakery department at the Roosevelt Safeway. There was a mishap on my cake order and store manager Mike Anderson and bakery worker Drew were extremely patient with me and professional. They remedied the situation and they did it with smiles. Much appreciated. Love the Roosevelt Safeway!

Just so glad they put up the flags on the poles outside! Don’t love that to buy toiletries you have to shop next to liquor here though. Really annoying especially if you have any problems with alcohol and you’re trying to buy toothpaste.

Dogs basically loose in the store more often than not, jumping on people and being in contact with products. Most recent instance a dog was running in and out from behind the deli counter with one of the employees from back there who handles the food petting the dog with their bare hands before I presume going back to work. So gross and unsanitary.

Love Safeway especially when I’m done with work because I get off a few hours before rush hour so I beat the rush at the check out stands. Clean facility and friendly staff

Still great service. The store has been reorganized but found it very easy to maneuver and find what I needed.
The only beef I had was that the smaller grocery carts are a thing of the past (stollen by the homeless). With my Spinal Stenosis my back is in pain by the time I have finished shopping.
