Staff is supper rude I had been coming here for over 15 years. They talk shit about you in Vietnamese not knowing that people of color can also speak Vietnamese. When you tell them something they yell at you saying they don’t care I will never come here again and I will tell everyone about my experience here. Very disrespectful people

I LOVE THIS PLACE SO MUCH. Yes, it's a bit chaotic and it's not in the best part of the neighborhood, but they have amazingly cheap and delicious Vietamnese food.

I got a chicken sandwich because I don’t eat pork due to my religious beliefs . I got home started eating the sandwich and noticed that pork was written on the bag. I tried to return it, but they insisted that it was chicken and the lady opened it up and started touching on it with her bare hand and tried to give it back to me with dirty fingernails underneath. They refused to remake my sandwich, so I just left the sandwich with them, especially after her, touching all over it with bare hands

An inexpensive and good lunch or dinner option when in the area. Small and at times cramped inside. The early bird gets the better choice of premade entrees. Due to the reasonable pricing, the homeless love this place and often set up their daily squatting location near the door. The business cant help this. So, it has to be accepted. Worth the inconvenience.

I’ve been eating here for 20 years, and it’s always been fantastic. Not only is the food excellent, they are kind to the community. One of my dad’s last meals before he passed 15 years ago. Thank gosh they are still going strong. Thank you Saigon Deli!!

Atmosphere is definitely entertaining, outside of establishment at least. Service here is absolutely amazing, someone please don't speak English but the ones that do are extremely friendly and go out of their way to help give you what you want! I recommend the honeydew with jellies boba drink and their sugar butter bread is warm out the oven and amazing, my favorite! Shocker; it cost $10 and that's including the tip!

Delicious cheap grab and go eats. Lots of great options on the hot foods, huge banh mi. My friends said they were great. I had eggplant and tofu with pork belly and rice. It was enough for me to share. I also got 2 pork pate in puff pastry and some eggs scrambled with ? taro topped with pickled radish and carrot that came with a delicious sauce. All of that for $33.00! I didn't know what a lot of the foods were. This is a place where Vietnamese people come. I didn't see any non- Vietnamese except me while I was there. The owners don't speak much English but are very nice. If you are an adventurous eater like me this place is awesome.

One of the better places to get a delicious Bahn Mi sandwich. Loaded with vegetables and nice amount of meat for a really good price. If I was in that area I always get a few Bahn Mi‘s for later. It is a sketchy neighborhood and the store feels like you are on a street market. I like the vibe it may not be for everyone but the sandwiches speak for themselves.
I asked for my banh mi to be warmed up which appears to be it was warm up 20 minutes ago because it wasn’t warm when I got it. I haven’t been here for 3 years because I moved away and it doesn’t taste like how it used to be.
